mannyroad58 Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Did you not think that the game might be changed? The sky fixtures hadnt been announced and they were flying high! Well before xmas when there's about a dozen of us to sort out no it wasn't in anyones thoughts. Who would've thought that they would still be challenging at this late stage of the season, i for one certainly didn't Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Be interesting to know how much say the away club has in deciding when games are played. After all football is run by Sky and the police. Quote

Spider Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) You set of fucking tarts. Can you not see that you now have a shit hot weekend trip already sorted and you don't have to ruin it by watching a dead rubber? Have a kick around on one of the parks near the town centre. Shirts VS Skins then put it on youtube. It's not like these trips are ever planned for the football, that's just a convenient excuse. Melts. Edited March 24, 2015 by Spider Quote
Ghana White Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 pisses me off this kind of thing. Their priority is some bloke in Asia subscribing or your armchair fan. You reward glory hunters etc. Couldn't care less about people who go... journalist on twitter reckons bolton don't get a penny for being on against Bournemouth? Don't know how true that is? Quote
MalcolmW Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Gartside written all over this Fuck the fans and all There's obsession and obsession. The simple fact is Bournemouth are currently top and this is their last home game. Second, third and fourth are all away. In fact, of the top eight Ipswich are the only other home team - against Forest. It would have been more interesting if Bournemouth had been due to play Reading or Rotherham, who have a re-arranged match the next night because of Reading's cup run. Clubs have little scope to object to changes for TV (from which they benefit financially?), but one thing is for sure. If the club did raise an objection successfully we would not get much future TV exposure. And this is not a "midweek" fixture in the normal sense - it is a late late weekend fixture. Quote
Guest Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Can't we just make them play it at the appointed time? Quote
anewman Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Don't get much exposure anyway and always last on the highlights Quote

SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 I wasn't going so now it's on Sky, result. That's my opinion too. Seriously though, it's not LATE notice (for those who are saying it is). The game is still over a month away. I would reckon that a VERY low percentage of the people who've planned the trip have already paid for flights and hotels, and if you have then go have a fun weekend anyway. Seriously. It's anything to moan about with you lot, it really is. Quote
