Big E Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 shes been getting comps as long as ive been going away she gets/got free rail travel it makes it easier to be an uberfan on those terms Hardly seems worth it when you only pay £8 Quote
passmosster Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Glad that I got rid of Sky a couple of years ago. The coverage was generally crap. I've never missed it, much prefer a live game. But Bournemouth on a Monday night? No thanks. Sky only want supporters to provide a bit of background noise while the likes of Gary Neville drone on. Quote

freds dad Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 I bet gartside was rubbing his hands together when he got the call from sky thinking about a little Brucie bonus he will get And of course if he could have turned down a lump of cash for the club so a few hundred fans could have gone to the match on Saturday then he would have. Nothing to do with extra revenue for the club at all. Quote

EyesRight Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) Worth an email to the club IMO to see if they'll offer free match tickets to those who've already booked travel. They did for the Charlton game that was rearranged at short notice last season. I know it means a day or two off work, but it's probably the best the club can do unfortunately and I'm sure they would oblige. Fixtures should be set in stone 12 weeks before (cup weekends aside) to allow fans to plan travel arrangements. Edited March 24, 2015 by EyesRight Quote

Unfortunately a free match ticket for Monday night would be no use to us who have booked & paid for a flight home on Sunday. I agree with you that there should be a cut off point, after which fixtures cannot be changed. Quote
Horwich Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Did you not think that the game might be changed? The sky fixtures hadnt been announced and they were flying high! Quote
passmosster Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Sorry Big E, the Sky format has not changed in the last 15 years. It's like watching moving wallpaper, and the pundits are boring. Can go and watch if we are on and can't make the game with a beer at my club. Still have BT Sport which has much better presentation, but only very occasionally watch that. Quote
