Carlos Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Plus we'd agreed a fee with Hull for Clough! Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I'm sure some of the money brought in for Ream and Kellet will be used to fund a loan striker and I'd be happy to lose Kellet who Lennon does not seem to rate for a decent young gun from the premiership. The one signing I'm a little bit amazed at is Silva surely a goal scorer from Arsenal rather than a speedster would've been a better fit for us. Quote
MancWanderer Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Somebody who can take a decent corner would be a start Quote

L/H White Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Somebody who can take a decent corner would be a start   Don't let the Tom Walker take them FFS Quote
SalfordOriginal Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 all in all, tho, a decent window bearing in mind the constraints and Lennon can only work within those constraints  No its been rubbish as we didnt sign anyone actually on the deadline day! Quote
Ratwhite Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 Twatstick must have something on Lennon, because hes fucking useless and stealing a living (again)Â Quote
jonnycooper Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Did we offload Medo? I read something late on yesterday about him going to Serbia or somewhere equally shit! Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Don't let the Tom Walker take them FFSPut in a grest corner for Taylor's goal for the U21's on Sunday. Quote
Anderson Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Put in a grest corner for Taylor's goal for the U21's on Sunday. Only fucker in the squad with a decent delivery for me, which is why it pisses me off when he plays on the right. Quote
Whites man Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Wellington will come good for us. Bloke at work was speaking with Grant Hanley after the game who said after chasing Welly half the length of the pitch he was knackered and had to foul him and get booked. Quote
HR Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Straight fucking red that should have been. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Straight fucking red that should have been. I agree. When there is no intention at all of playing the ball, it should be a straight red Quote
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I agree. When there is no intention at all of playing the ball, it should be a straight red  I strongly disagree.  You'd end up abandoning games with not enough players if you gave a red card for "cynical" or "professional" fouls. Rembrandt Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Commentators are no help : "he HAD to foul him there, there was a break on." Etc. Quote
Ani Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 It was also high, I know we are not going to have a balanced view but do not think he could argue if it had been red. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 It was also high, I know we are not going to have a balanced view but do not think he could argue if it had been red. On the BWFC commentary Tony Kelly was going ballistic saying professional foul and a straight red. Quote
SnoopJohnnyJohn Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 (edited) On the BWFC commentary Tony Kelly was going ballistic saying professional foul and a straight red. Â To be fair, he's a little on the biased side - although I haven't personally seen it. Â If it was high, you can really argue for a red because it gets into the "nasty" challenge category. Pulling someone down or taking their legs just because you can't keep up though, I don't see that as more than a yellow unless it's a goal-scoring opportunity. Leyther_Matt Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I was more annoyed that Hanley should have got booked in the first half, so that foul didn't even need to be a straight red for him to be sent off. Quote
kent_white Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 To be fair - Wellie the Elephant shouldn't have been on the pitch following his little petulant kick out in the first half Quote

Casino Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 aye, if hanleys challenge made contact it was a red all day long Quote
