At his best ,quality, but his last 18 months at Bolton he just seemed off the pace.

Rather we spent the fifteen Bob on another striker

Hmmmm I'm not sure

One one hand is love him back but on the other I'm not sure you can have him, Mavies and Clough in the team

He's certainly not going to box to box is he?

I'd hate for him to come back and get turned on by the boo boys too

Having said that he'd bring passion, experience and goals for sure

On the fence

It's a yes from Me!!! He usually chips in with about 10 goals a season,so he would have been our best (striker) over recent years..

He would tear this Championship a new ring piece!!

We could play Nolan up top imo. He has always been a pretty clinical finisher and has the experience to play that role.

For Nolans leadership it'd be a yes but if it means we can't sign a proper striker it would be a reluctant no.

Pretty much my position too. Not that we would go for him instead of the mythical striker (unless someone feels sorry for us and lends us a striker for nowt).

I dont think we need Nolan.

We have more than enough in midfield.

Vela, Spearing, Pratley, Davies, Danns are fine.

We need more fire power.

Still don't think we will get him.

Apart from sentimentality why would he come to us? We'd pay him peanuts,we are hovering round the bottom of division 2 and he doesn't want to leave that there London.

I think he's be a great asset mind,he's a leader on and off the pitch. The likes of vela could learn loads off him. Like he learnt off Gary Speed.

He's on goals on Sunday at 10.30

I'm fire place shopping. Let me know what he says :)

I can beat that, I'm toilet seat shopping this afternoon

Says it's a club close to his heart and he still gets on well with PG, said he wouldn't rule it out

5k a week and a million on promotion

As I put in the doghead threat, what are we going to do when Pratleys fit? He obviously has to play. It's only just sunk in how many midfielders we've got.

Pratley

Danns

Vela

Spearing

Medo

Davies

Honestly, I don't think we need Nobby. He's always going to be remembered fondly but I don't want him to come back and tarnish those memories if he under performs and the boo-ers get on his back

Not if we just bang the ball upfield over head height.

I would have him back no problem he would get easy 15 goals a season play him up top with Madine and he would galvanise the team.

Move Clough out wide?

If we can its a definite for me. Experience and guidance alone, never mind the fact Sparky won't last the season.

We've got Clayton to come back, and there are goals to come. A boost of confidence, and some guidance is just what is required.

Any striker we could get would be a gamble regardless.

He's a better player than 3 of those. Pratters and Davies generally spend half the season out injured.

If we can afford it,get him in.

Plus you might as well delete Spearing and Medo from the list as Lennon has made his mind up on them and I would be surprised if they survived the loan window. So with Pratley and Davies's injury records we actually look a little light.

Lennon has also said the door is open for Holden if he wants it, which would suggest Lennon thinks we don't have enough good midfielders.

It shouldn't be how many we have but are Holden / Nolan / whoever better than who we currently have playing. Finance dependent.

You missed Trotter off that list and at least one person rates him higher than at least two on the list above.

I dunno if we should get him back, but i don't believe that " we've too many midfielders " thing.

.

As sentiments go, a fit Holden would be fantastic, but it aint gonna happen, if he makes a comeback he'll do it in the good old US of A, where he can subsidise his wages with tv appearances.
