Over in Spain so not sure if he has been mentioned but there had been a rumour in San Sebastián for the past month that we are signing the Real Sociedad forward Alfred Finnbogason. He was their marque signing last summer but by the time I went to a Erreala game in November the fans had already written him off.

I think I might have sussed this. Eidur is from Iceland like Finnmingiziggsy, so Eidur has recommended Finngy to Lennon, Lennon was apparently interested in signing Finngy, when he was boss at Celtic. No doubt we have a great chance of signing Finngy, just one problem, Real Sociedad shelled out about 7.5 million Euros and he's on a fortune and we're skint. Nailed on this one!
