They sold that Mings for 8M to Bournemouth recently, so I suspect they'd have more than enough to tempt Eddie.

If they offered £5 million for Vela we would bite their hands off.

But they would probably offer nearer £1 million.

Vela might want guarantees at thus stage of his career that he is firstly going to play most weeks, and secondly in his prefered position.

I think they can spend what they bring in or at least a percentage of it. So yes they can

just think of the money wasted on N'gog & Sordell just for starters. Then compare what they cost in fees/wages to goals scored and what ALF would probably cost and deliver now. Coyle you utter prick

I imagine a few will be in for Vela and Clough, maybe even Walker and Mavies if they start well, that's what happens when a team publicly admits there's financial constraints.

 

£5m at least for Vela and £8m for Clough and we'll be waving bye. I'd be gutted but you can't argue with that, anything less and they all need sacking.

 

Two players with boundless potential, they could both play for England one day and we all know that commands a premium. If that Roberts goes for that much we will have royally fucked up if we don't get their worth.

 

Saying that I do hope they stay for at least a couple of years because we could genuinely be in the Prem if they can realise that potential with us.
