Just to add that the other £2.5m came from Deano's venture capital partner. I hope that what I have heard is untrue but it is looking like it isn't, hence the lack of FL approval.

If the figures quoted are true of SS bid and they have loaned £5m at 36% p.a. Then we truly are fooked. Thought that they had backers. Add to this the £15m debt to ED and any TV revenues due and this just doesn't stack up! Now I can see why FL are not approving this.

We won't default on tax bill Eddie will lose control of everything if he does, and he likes to be in control and call the shots, that would mean he loses control, so it will get paid one way or the other.

Didn't some of the money generated from various asset sales go to paying off the nucleus loan which was about £5m? Think that had to be done to help any sale

 

Also think other directors loans that were secured against assets that we took out in the last 12 months to pay wages have been paid off

 

Finally we've still been losing £1m a month which this sorry mess came to light in November. So that's another £4m accounted for

 

I guess we need someone to put another £6m in just to keep the losses going to the start of next season so that's either the £7m Deanos putting in or further asset sales

The fact the the Football League won't ratify the deal is possibly a blessing in my view. If SS don't have a pot to piss in (as most feared) then we would be back in front of the FL again in the near future with another new owner.

It's a fair comment we all want this over but if it's a house or cards best that the FL say no what I can't understand is how the fuck it gets to this after Eddie and his team have supposed to have scrutinised them for months already and as I've said its not fucking hard to budget for this business - I'm hopeful it's just a FL regulation/technicality regarding payments to previous owners or something - he must have nerves of steel Edwin and feel for Deano clearly put everything into this roller coaster that just keeps rolling - I've been there and it is very very difficult
