bwfc2003 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 If we go into admin won't ED still be in charge of what happens as he is owed £180m thus making him the biggest creditor? He would get to appoint his own administrator (TB) Think the only benefit to admin would be the writing off of some of the current losses so it's easier for other consortiums to take over with less cash required up front to keep the club going But if we go into admin, the assets can be sold to the highest bidder, which may be Mr Middlebrook who may want to build shops and offices where our ground and car park are Quote

Biggish Dave Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 How ironic that on Saturday, Massimo Cellino or whatever he's called won't be the most despised owner of the 2 teams. I can't wait to get shut of this prick, he has no legacy left. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko 32s32 seconds ago Bolton. Spoken to three interested parties in last few days. All said same. Keen if goes into admin. But won't do deal on Davies terms ... Of course they will be interested they can get the assets and won't have to accept Eddies fucked up conditions. Can't understand why SS agreeing to Eddies law. Edited March 2, 2016 by Mounts Kipper Quote
tyldesley_white Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 maybe because they know he as no chance of collecting, we are going down this year so really do you expect us to be back in the prem in 5 years , I bet you will get fucking good odds at the bookies Quote

I think Mr Middlebrook might be more interested in the multi million pound rentals he could build there rather than a loss making hole in a bucket football club. Quote

Its a gamble though inst it, but someone pointed out earlier, we have missed the cut off date for voluntary admin, so if true, to me we have only 2 options 1. Pay the debt attached to the winding up order 2. Lock the gates as unless the judge grants another stay of execution, we will be wound up and all assets sold - then There is no point in Mr Middlebrook keeping the ground as there will be no bugger there on match day What a fuckin mess Quote

I'm fucked if I know what's going on now, it's most confusing As far as I know the training ground and the Car park deals been done the car park went to PBP the deal with Emerson fell through. Think the offices went for 4 million and that paid of the loan we took out with the dodgy loan company. Quote

Think the offices went for 4 million and that paid of the loan we took out with the dodgy loan company. Fair enough, things change on such a regular basis that it's easy to lose track - so presumably that money was used to pay off some outstanding loans, hopefully there is enough to pay the taxman.....and if there is, I wonder why we haven't yet, as we must be accruing interest on a daily basis. I'm sure there is some clever reason why ED wouldn't pay it (Clever for his own personal finances, not the club finances) Quote

waffer cup 07 Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I,m not surprised the football league are questioning the deal.ED selling but leaving £15 million debt in the club and then raking in any TV money when he doesn,t own the club. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 Yup, that tall dude off Dragon's Den, he's paid it. There are plans afoot to bring back former fans' favourite ex-Whites Striker Noel Blake as manager. Source: The Sun. Quote
