jules_darby Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Did that suffice? How was his groin today eh?? he won as meany headers as I can remember to be fair However, Shola did more positive in his short time than Madine did in the game Great goal Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Nice break now with the cup game coming up and then a mighty push up the table Other teams (Blackburn and Fulham) will now be looking over their shoulders Lots of games to go yet and a few more wins in February it will be very interesting Quote
Zico Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Prob won't have two easier games in a row at home than Eastleigh and MK but the confidence was there today Chuck in a no pressure game olv leeds and hopefully get some momentum going into the big one against Rotherham Though the light at the end of the tunnel will probably turn out to be an oncoming train or something Quote
Boby Brno Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I wasn't looking forward to the last two games but they were two of the best for a long time. Quality of the opposition has to be taken into consideration but considering our current plight, it really could be the springboard that turns our fortunes around. With the financial situation looking more encouraging, things do seem more positive. Quote
snowball Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Snowball gaining momentum now.... Come on you fucking Whites, we can do it....... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JYLm5w5o10Q Yep I am (Ha Ha) and so are the super whites! COYWM!! Gonna beat Leeds next week I can see it! Thought Holding, Welly, Trotter, were great today and honourable mentions to Pratley on a goal roll!, Money after a dodgy start and Amos with his saves (beaten by a long shot again but we won't go there). We actually looked a team today, so what if it was MK Dons they are one of the three we have to finish above. Terrific, gonna enjoy tonight for a change Quote
Bigtoe Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Jumped out of my seat several times at Silvas skill today. He worked hard too. Well done again Rob Holding. Cant be easy being thrown into this but he did everything well again. Covered well, stuck to the easy stuff when needed and brought the ball forward when needed. Trotter shielded them across the back broke it up and played it simply. Did it in the cup in midweek too. I would say they are the worst team i have seen us play all season. But maybe we just played very well on the day? Quote
Guest Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Best I've seen this season MK Dons were poor Quote
bwfc2003 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Welly Silva been great today, as has Holding, light at end of tunnel maybe? Probably Silvas best game for us today but will someone tell the little cunt to cut out the diving - That dive when he actually won a free kick in the second half was embarassing - may or may not have been a foul but did he have to roll over so many fuckin times Quote
Con Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Second time ever in ESL today, only previous was against Atletico, think I may have to stay in there! Quote
CSBWFC Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Much better performance , created plenty of chances , got the early goal but we still look shaky at the back. Deserved win and the score was about right. Quote
Rembrandt Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 No mention for Mavies ? Thought it was best game I've seen from him in a long while. As someone said, we're beginning to look like a team at last. Just the treat I needed. Quote
Rembrandt Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) double post Edited January 23, 2016 by Rembrandt Quote
Naytch Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 3-1 Bolton. Clough, Pratley, Dobbie Vinnie Jones for them. Right result at least! COYW! Quote
Blondi Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) Fook me! Really enjoyed that game and why can't we play more like that on a regular basis? Much prefer Pratley & Trotter in our midfield, just gives us more physicality. Wellington & Feeney both superb and Holding well done lad. Lovely goal at the end from Ameobi too!I'm not getting too carried away though, coz MK Dons were fooking shite! Edited January 23, 2016 by Blondi Quote
Eavesy Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 No mention for Mavies ? Thought it was best game I've seen from him in a long while. As someone said, we're beginning to look like a team at last. Just the treat I needed. Not great first half. But second half looked more like it. Drove on and looked lively. Just doesn't do it enough times. Quote
Casino Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Love watching trotter pass the ball And holding playing like Stubbs Lots of positives so I'm having a negative Thought first half was very even, second half we battered em but didn't kill em off Most games won't be so one sided We need to make more of our periods of dominance Quote
Carlos Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Why the fuck did MK keep playing it out from the back? What a load of shit they are. Should have been more, hope that Welly turns up again soon. Quote
frank_spencer Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 They resorted to clumping Silva as he was cutting them to ribbons. Everyone impressive today keep on with that kind of play and we might claw our way out of this. Quote
Rizlar Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Excellent performance today trotter and pratley look good together we are still shaky at the back though but a wins a win and so onwards and upwards! Amos beaten again from distance sure he needs glasses Quote
HomerJay Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 everyone brilliant. nothing to moan about whatsoever. good confidence booster Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Plenty of pluses today, Holding, Pratley, Trotter, Fenney, Silva's best performance so far, but thought Madine looked a different player today, won every header good hold up play and lay offs. Probably his best game for us. Quote
DomRepWanderer Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Just a thought, but would it not be best to keep Ameobi, and shunt Heskey? Quote
oggybwfc Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 A few pints, 16/1 winner on a free tenner bet, Best performance all season, three of us picked 3/1 ready too order take away.Pretty much the perfect Saturday. Quote
Biggish Dave Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 MK were the worst side I've seen this season including Eastleigh but take nothing away from us. Holding was class at the back, Trotter shielded the back 4 superbly allowing Davies and Pratley to get forward without fear of being left short at the back. Feeney had one of his better games and put some quality crosses in. Welly enjoyed himself and a great finish from Shola to seal the win. We are a long way yet from being a good team but get playing with confidence like we had at times today and the great escape could be on. Rob Holding mom for me Quote
