The problem for me is, although half that squad will be gone in the summer, the other half that started today will be kicking off our league 1 campaign in August. That's why the complete disgrace of a performance today still pisses me off, whether or not it makes any difference in the short term.

This year is my 50th year watching Bolton Wanderers F.C.

I got shot down when I was not amongst those believing we had " best squad in this division" malarkey when relegated from the Premier. iMO avoiding another drop will be a bloody good result next season.

These players will sit as tight onto their contracts as barnacles to a boat hull. The ones given 2 - 3 years contracts will be around for some time.

We're in deep deep shit, we're going to be on level par player wise with the likes of Bury and Rochdale next season but they will probably have more desire, we need a change of headset right across the club similar to when Rioch came in, who could generate that type of culture change I just have no idea.

I hate 442, especially with our midfield, I hope Jimmy never does that again!!

Last Sunday, I saw Wheater in the newsagents, he wouldn't make eye contact and was clearly trying to stay towards the back of the shop ( I had my maroon Nakata shirt on)... His WAG, in his Porsche outside looked a little concerned to see me coming out of the shop whilst he was in,
