  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

First episode of "The Loch" last night, which I enjoyed. Visually it was nice, I should probable make the effort to get to Loch Ness one day.....it's just fucking miles away

White Gold. BBC iPlayer.

Beesley, Buckley, Thomas (Inbetweeners) ... 1980s Essex, 3 double glazing salesmen, many amusing references to 80s. Amusing watch.

Quite enjoyed these, up to episode five so far. There were moments though where Jay from Inbetweeners slipped in to pure, well, Jay from Inbetweeners. Doesn't stop it being funny, like.

2 new dramas for me, The Lock and Fearless, both started this week

Went briefly as a kid. The "shore" was deep stinking foetid muck. That Nessie is a dirty sod. Suggest you find a clean bit

So American Gods is picking up 5 episodes in. Laura is starting to give me a bit of a twitch now. It's bonkers and extraordinary. Looking forward to watching it again already.

Still not sure on it yet. Sticking with it for the time being but is even stranger than The Preacher

Both really good, also Broken is good with a good cast.

Couple of documentaries worth watching.

First one about Philpott - The guy who killed his 6 kids in the house fire. What a scuzzball. (The Philpotts: 5 Years On)

Second one about Sophie Lancaster - the girl kicked to death in the skate park in Bacup 10 years ago. (When Kids Kill). There's also going to be a dramatisation of it called "Murdered for Being Different" by the same team that did "Murdered by My Boyfriend" and "Murdered by My Dad" later this month on BBC.

Caught up with The Loch and Fearless last night, both good but preferred Fearless. Looks like I'm 3 episodes behind Broken, might just bash em all off tonight.

Saw an episode of 24 hours in police custody. Series five, episode one. A bloke attacked someone with a fire extinguisher in a lift.

Won't tell the whole story but was disturbing. Given the ones listed above you might be interested.

Her from Peaky Blinders, you know it's going to be good. Haven't bothered with British dramas for ages but these are promising. I'll ignore your last few words
