We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

What’s their problem? Was he due to sign for them, has he played there?

Well this guy has just informed us that we are now enemies & welcomed us to Hell.

also in the no dan back camp

I’d have Dan back but only as a permanent not a loan. Evatt reckons he sees something in him and can get that out and I’m sure he’s right but if he does it next year on loan either he’ll then go elsewhere or back to Saints and we lose out yet again. If IE thinks he has potential then back your confidence and sign him permanently or bring in someone who we know can score goals.

I’d rather have Dan than Victor, based solely on performances last season but that’s not saying much. And since we have Victor, Dan is a no from me.

Already got JDB, Jerome and Victor as our “big lads” up top. Hope we sign a nippy waspy type in the Charles or Alfie May mould

That's where I'm at.

Hopefully Big Vic comes back looking like a different player and proves me wrong.

Sickening 😐

Kane Wilson from Brizzle City being mentioned - RWB. Don't know anything about him

Ex Forest Green, near 100 games for them. 23 recently. Wing-Back as much as full vack for those who understand. Moved to Brizzle last summer, got a knee injury & has had to put up with being managed by madman Nigel Pearson.

Dacres-Cogley from Tranmere too. 2 right wing backs in the same day. Don’t know a lot about him but a few Tranmere fans on socials saying he should be moving to the champ… not league 1. So they rate him highly.

Heard good things about Kane Wilson, fits our profile too

No idea who the Tranmere lad is

Heard a whisper we've looked at Josh Dacres-Cogley a RB at Trampmere.

If you know, you know

If it's true that Kane Wilson from Bristol City is available I'm hoping we'll be all over that, the sort of RWB who looks made for our style of play. L2 POTY not long ago with 17 goal involvements from wing back & still only 23.

An astute signing if we've pulled it off, I really believe he'll flourish in our system. Buzzing

I'm struggling to see what IE sees in him other than athleticism - which TBF is a good asset to have - but I just don't think he has the technique or control to be a pro footballer - lad has the touch of a rapist. If he can work on his control, passing, shooting and game awareness he could be a gem but he's a long way off it ATM and is probably valued over his current worth.

Dan not for me not convinced by Vic either .

A warm welcome then to big Dan.

Different players with different attributes, but for what they offer and what we need ...

Dan > Victor > Jerome

Pity the last two are under contract.

Victor is the surprise signing for me - seems like they noted the goals he scored as a lone striker with lots of service at Burton and then brought him in to play out of position and chase about like a headless chicken. He's shown some tidy footwork at times but I just don't see how he fits with IE's style of play. Like everyone else I hope he comes good.

Joel Coleman done

Coleman has now been announced

Happy with the two goalies. Not sure about these two right wing backs but hopefully they are what we need.

pete o rourk is usually reliable with his info

He was rumoured to be signing for them

The Trannie played 45 & 46 league games ... at 4th Division level the past two seasons. Solid back up, but for a club looking at promotion from the tier up it will all remain to be seen.
