My sarcasm got the better of me for a moment back there. I just find it ironic that Evatt is described as an underachiever in this context. When the team clicks and Schuey gets us promoted will be the time when that criticism will have some value.

Well if you stop calling Evatt an underachiever it might help. He had many. many faults but underachieving wasn't anywhere near the top of that list.

He was ok for two years then his one trick got found out  by Simpson, Carlisle Manager and Maloney Wigan two home games running in the Oct/Nov of the Oxford season.

Up until then i backed him, that is just over three seasons.

Hence the inverted commas, she (along with the rest of the board) escaped a lot of criticism for stubbornly sticking with what wasn't working then only changing it with all of the January window gone.

This is about folk banging on about him seven months into a new manager's tenure.

Hopefully Schumacher is as flexible as advertised  as he has plenty of options to try things now and put some wins together,
