September 1, 2025Sep 1 Trying to judge who we should be beating, based on the table after 6 games is just stupidity.

I know he only managed to become the third highest all time winner in our history and delivered a promotion and won some Cup or other - all with players who were apparently shit - but that obviously created unrealistic expectations amongst the fanbase for some reason and now the fans have the audacity to expect Schuey's new look BWFC to win a game occasionally. Especially against teams currently lurking in and around the relegation zone and Sheff W's under 10s. They need to realise Rome wasn't built in seven months, the impatient bastards. I'm not worried though - it's going to click soon, hopefully against another team in the relegation zone on Saturday. You should be in politics so you can spin your % win Narative........He was operating in the clubs lowest position in 150 years....Take away the wins in the Papa Johns against the kids from Everton, Utd etc. Nobody is saying all the players he left us with are shit, but in all honesty the decent ones you can count on one hand We had 5 kids against Shef Wed and their keeper was valued at more than the team we put out but hey you spin it again. After 7 months Evatt had us 17th in lge 2, but hey lets not mention that as he was our 3rd best manager in our History. If you call getting promotion behind Cambridge and Cheltenham and winning a cup no other team bar Peterborough is interested you set the bar very, very low. What do you suggest sack Schumacher and re-appoint our third best manager in History and bring Dion back ahhh for the good old days we won 1-0 in the 98th min every week

I just find it ironic that Evatt is described as an underachiever in this context. When the team clicks and Schuey gets us promoted will be the time when that criticism will have some value.

He had many. many faults but underachieving wasn't anywhere near the top of that list.

Please show me a post where i have said he was a underacheiver......Your spinning it again He was ok for two years then his one trick got found out by Simpson, Carlisle Manager and Maloney Wigan two home games running in the Oct/Nov of the Oxford season. Up until then i backed him, that is just over three seasons.

From Pompey away he underachieved and lost his fucking mind.

Hence the massive transition we are in right now. I was an Evatt apologist till the nearly the end but christ if anyone thinks SS didn't inherit a car crash they are living on the moon. The culture of the club was fucked, the system was fucked, the balance of the sqaud fucked and the whole mentality of certain players totally fucked too. I don't think people realise just what a task SS and Fergal have had on their hands.

September 1, 2025Sep 1 So do we know if any left? (4 attempts at getting out of L1 and not managing it is underachieving by the way - and I for a long time was his biggest fan)

Hence the inverted commas, she (along with the rest of the board) escaped a lot of criticism for stubbornly sticking with what wasn't working then only changing it with all of the January window gone.

September 1, 2025Sep 1 Well if one of them is Macca to Barnsley nobody’s mentioned it to the fans over here because there’s nothing on any of the boards. I think the consensus is they’ll be relieved just not to lose anybody after fearing offers for Luca, Philips and DKD.

I actually have an aunty Sharon and not once since I left primary school have I ever called or referred to her as that. It's like grown folk calling their parents mummy and daddy when they themselves are mummy and daddy to their little children. Makes me cringe like fuck.
