FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Notwithstanding this is via Twitter ... it's all a bit of a fckg shambles isn't it.

& the keepers are purely down to the current regime, whether Schumacher or Harkin.

Think SS has lost the dressing room and can believe the rumours. He has to go our we will keep on losing

That's twice in two years that a regular and solid, if maligned by fans, wing-back has been bombed out with little prior warning. Randell Williams got the same treatment.

I just looked it up and he's now at Reading, who seemingly are about to sign Santos.

Randell Williams was a good footballer but a dreadful wing back, and has played as a winger at the clubs he's been at since with varying degrees of success.

We need a captain, obvious thing but a strong midfielder but given current squad balance that would mean people leaving or a change of formation.

Add in a goal scorer and we are close but go get best out of centre forward we need a change of formation

Maybe a stronger centre half who can just defend might be better with a change of formation.

I can see us just going with the change in formation.

Bradford have already announced a couple of loan signings. Given the number of games in Jan you would think early busy would make sense.

Rumours are Miller has already gone and Cogley had a fall out with SS after Luton.

All from twitter that

That one about Cogley, the lad said it was his mate who'd told him and he'd heard it was doing the rounds 🤣

Interesting to know where those rounds are.

The thing about a contract extension and not wanting to trigger it could be a bit more plausible, though SS wasn't ruling him out of playing tonight according to Iles

What about Declan John?

A lot of impatience and speculation knocking about and we’re not even half way through the window. That’s what happens when we stop playing well.

Presumably there’s a ton of work going on behind the scenes and any reveals will only happen when fully completed.

Gone where? He was here Saturday and Schueys said nothing. I wonder though if that’s why Broome was back and on the bench? Might be interesting to see if he starts tonight?

If TSL starts tonight with Miller on the bench, a lot of twatter insiders will look like right dicks.

Dressing room doesn’t sound too harmonious at the minute with these little bits of info circling around

slightly different topic but linked to the dressing room, picked up on Christie’s interview post Posh, everyone working hard etc etc but what struck me was his line around it being a quiet group.. just struck me yet again of an environment where leadership and standards aren’t being maintained. Not saying it implies they’re not being professional but that “bastard” we’ve been crying out for who gets hold of people and holds them to account, a proper leader whose vocal is again, missing

Not sure a dressing room bastard would work today. A proper leader is definitely lacking an old head who has been there and done it. We have Christie and that's it, a couple more this month would be beneficial.

Someone like Tom Lees who played on sat

It certainly doesn't seem too harmonious.

A win or two may help ease that of course, but the sudden drop off is bizarre.

Yup, someone who leads by example

That was the bit that jumped out of the Christie interview for me, 'a quiet group'. Was something that came up last year, too many too quiet, not enough leaders or drivers.

SS saw that plain and clear in the collapse late last season. A lot of outs and ins since but still not different enough from that squad and those times.

Miller & TSL may still be around, Cogley may be kept. We may get in the next couple of weeks a ... centre forward, bastard midfielder & leader, a pair of top full backs.

But I'm not going to remember a 3-1 away loss & diabolical recent form anyway as much as pulling two players after 43 minutes.

Yikes well that puts the cat amongst the pigeons.

I'd balance needing a new striker over a new keeper. Lowe isn't perfect but he's good enough

I also think the landscape has changed.  We bring a bastard in, and he gets rested/dropped after a couple of below par performances or because of rotation.  And the players he's having a whinge at only played an hour, then were rested for the next game.  Little accountability, little feeling of owning the results because they all take it in turns to play half an hour or an hour here and there.  Nobody can blame Taylor, McAtee, Randall, Forino or EE for our poor run of form.  If this team somehow went up how many players could justifiably put "promotion" on their CV (the same would apply to relegation or winning a cup).

11 new signings if possible

In our current position of just about everything going to shit and the appalling signings of the last 12 months there is no way the owners will be making any funds available. Ship out those that want to go and as much deadwood as possible and start the rebuild. If we lose the next 2 this should include going SS as well

Bali Mumba off to Huddersfield for £1M .

SS would love to have him.

The owners have not given SS any additional funds over what he brought in in the Summer
