😀we have had a decent defensive line up from them on loan over the years:

Robinson, Taylor, Dawson, Ashworth

Well they got Sneekes, De Freitas, Meite and Jules Darby from us, OK maybe not direct transfers.

Blimey. The levels are astronomical as you climb the leagues.

"Crystal Palace have signed Blackburn Rovers 19yr old midfielder Adam Wharton on an initial fee of £18m, possibly rising to £22m".

Never heard of him & I assume he's good.

Top prospect so it’s no surprise TBH - will undoubtedly be in England reckoning.

Fair f*cking play to FV & Evatt really have gone for it the past week, seems like we got our #1 targets in every one of the positions we wanted. Ennis is reuniting with his old Argyle boss at Stoke, atleast he won't be playing against us this season for a promotion rival.

Given our prospects of promotion I assumed our “number one targets” would be permanent signings rather than loans.

That said they’ve done well to cover injuries - I hope.

Poisoned chalice for IE this, still remember folk saying promotion wasn't down to PP because he had the best squad in the league so anyone could have done it 🙄

Nah. Parkinson had a squad full of players who'd played most of their careers in the top 2 divisions.

Evatt has certainly never had that.

Really good work from IE & Markham.......in the short term, Taylor may be the most important recruit, to get us through our temporary centre back shortage.

Longer term, Collins looks a great prospect, good with both feet, a strong shot & capable of dropping deeper & creating chances for others, but it might take him a while to fit in & also to get fit enough to work like Vic & Dion.

Lets hope our thickest "fans" don't get on his back if he isn't an instant success !!

My nephew played in the same team as his brother Scott. Adam was always the better player for his age

Somebody told me earlier that there's another brother who is better than them 2!

I think that was only said AFTER he'd got us promoted.  Iirc, pre season most people thought we were more likely to go down & the players should be fired off .
