Probably the 4th best of the centre back options as once Johnston is fit he slots back in at LCB and I can't see Toal ousting Rico or Jones. He's capable of filling in at all 3 slots though and is a vital part of the squad.

As a centre back I have him ahead of Jones and I’m a big Jones fan…he’s better on the ball and better distribution than Johnston won’t take much for him to be second in the pecking order of centre half’s and also still only 25.

Another 7lbs of timber would help him to outmuscle some of these meatheads.

That's where I'm at with it. Not sure the link up with the wing back is there with Toal.

No slight on him as I do rate him and I wouldn't be upset with him playing either position next to Santos but I think Jones is Evatt's 1st choice

Santos may possibly be swayed elsewhere if we don't go up.

Having others available is no bad thing.
