It seems they had resigned themselves to him going elsewhere as he couldn't play wing back so would be pointless for them... Oh how I'm pleased to be free from those days.

 

Anyway, I'm sure it'll smart a bit to see him in white nonetheless.

Maybe he is just fatigued, releived.

So long as he keeps playing reasonably well, scores goals and is a threat, then we can't ask much more of a younger player in his first season.

Quite like us signing a scouser though, would imagine he has a bit of edge to him.

I think what an awful lot of our fanbase needs to learn is that just because there is no noise it doesn’t mean things aren’t happening 

the rumours or lack of this month is similar to what happened in to summer. Everyone moaning and questioning, when in reality the club and the recruitment team in particular were quietly going about their business Diligently and making us stronger

In a back 4, its probably Johnston (as with last night).

Back 5, its probably Taylor, that's what he was signed for.

Or even Tutu.

In truth any new LB is coming as back up to Conway not first choice, nobody's signing just so that another player can have a couple of weeks off.

Different at RB, where there's a vacancy for a genuine 1st choice.
