May 26May 26 I think Jordi was good enough to keep, but I'm sure there are plenty of other factors to that decision. Ultimately we were never going to attack the Championship with a squad that finished 5th in League One - and that's if we managed to keep Kenny & ACD. They'll all be good players at a decent level somewhere.

May 26May 26 No mention of Gomes either. Randall, Toal and Mcatee are the only first team players from Evatt last squad excluding Sheehan who is the only one to get a further contract. I think Johnston, Dempsey and TuTu knew they were off a couple of months ago and will have got themselves a club lined up. Good judge of character by SS because those three put a shift in until the end. Not sure many of those he got rid of last Summer would have done the same
