  • FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Fuck that

You'd have to be a mentalist to go there.

Mind you, plenty will have been saying the same when he came here.

Maybe he's a mentalist.

Can't see it but you never know - I'd we don't get the embargo lofted and they've got a few quid.

Can't see him lasting longer than six months without getting potted mind.

Can't see him leaving somehow, we have just been promoted there is a feel good around the place that there hasn't been for the best part of a decade, his family are here, why would he leave?

Don't panic, Big Sam is available, it's written in the stars

There are lots of reasons. The main one being, Leeds may be willing to offer him more than we are paying him...

He won't go, but I won't lose sleep if he did

Why did Gary Monk resign?

Good manager him, presume their board are bring arseholes

5/1 for Sunderland job....

He won't go, but I won't lose sleep if he did

I agree with the lad from North Manchester

I agree with the lad from North Manchester

im honoured we agree on something

I only found out the other day parky was born in Chorley.

This is a first

Might get Jules having Madine as his favourite player soon

Might get Jules having Madine as his favourite player soon

hes a softie jules under that hard exterior

The bloke takes on a failing club, an utter shambles, completely changes the mentality, has players praising him from the rooftops and you wouldn't mind seeing him go

Fcukinghell

Just said I wouldn't lose sleep over him going.

That's not to say I want him out or anything

I know

I didn't say you did

I think people underestimate what he took on

Correct he's done a great job under difficult circumstances

Anyway not getting to Parkinson he won't go Leeds

I'd be pig sick if we lost Parkinson.

We'll probably be favourites to go down next season because of the financial constraints & the player embargo, & our best hope is that Parkinson's skills will keep us up.......

His ability to organise a defence, keep clean sheets & grind out results,

His ability to get the best out of underperforming players...Spearing, Madine, Wheater, Dervite......

His ability to identify & get the best out of players unwanted anywhere else....Taylor, Karacan, Alf, Morris.....

His abillity to adapt the team like when we lost Mavies, when we lost Ameobi & Clough, when we lost all our full backs or when he integrated new players.

Parkinson has proved himself to me & i'll back him no matter how tough the going gets next season.

What he said

Well said pal.

You'll do for me

I think people underestimate what he took on

Not necessarily

He's absolutely nailed what he had to do

Doesn't mean he's automatically the best man for the next job, which may well be different

I'm happy with him, but not so much that I'd be devastated if he left, like I was when Bruce moved on
