If I had to choose either Ameobi or Morais, I'd choose Ameobi, Ameobi is younger and he's got a bit better pedigree than Morais and I think there is much more potential in Ameobi, saying that both would be great additions to our squad.

Morais for me. I think folk are forgetting just how frustrating Ameobi can be. Goes missing for games at a time and then suddenly turns in to Pele (if Pele looked like a spider on a hot plate). That's not to say I'd necessarily be unhappy with Ameobi as he did seem to grow in to things later on in his spell with us, but I fear he'd be a bit of a luxury in the Championship, especially away from home.

Hope JS signs but fear he'll get more wedge elsewhere.

Did well last season but when he bought his dad the fancy BMW or similar 4 Xmas and posted on FB or whatever when he were getting drubbed every week and the club hadn't a pot to piss in, I'll never forget.

You're right.

How dare someone spend their money on what they want to buy, and for his father nonetheless.

What a twat.

Try and get both for me and as for Dervite PP got the best out of him so whose to say he won't do as well next season with PP in charge.

When u say he got the best out of him he'd played every fucker but him and had no choice but to stick him in dervite came in to a winning side and was steady ....... i hope we don't need him if we struggle because he's proved he's a fucking fanny at that

Clearly missing the point.

It was posted on FB.

Totally insensitive and without thought.

IIRC it was the day we lost 4-0 at Rotherham on Boxing Day too.

I'm going to buck the trend

I reckon League 1 is Morais' level but the Championship is Ameobi's.

Therefore I'd go for Sammy if it's only one

Agree

I agree with Med (don't faint :D )

Spearing can spend his money on what he wants but he also needs to be more emotionally intelligent than that. He should have kept it private.

For the folk spending their hard earned on us being a pile of shit it could feel like a slap in the face

Not forgetting Spearing buggering off to Ibiza when shit was hitting the fan.

For what it's worth, all water under the bridge for me and he seems to have learned his lesson. Amazing what a good season does.

That annoyed me more than him treating his dad to a new car.

So-called "athlete" getting caned mid-season

Ameobi is a given at champs level for me.

Morais is a funny one he's the best crosser of a ball we've had at any level for a long while his previous inability to step up must have been about application compared to say a Matt Taylor there's bugger all in it talent wise for me.

Ameobi coming in off the left and morais dead balls and crosses could be a pretty lethal combo

I know you're on a wind up but it's true.

Prices have at least doubled thanks to the money from the tv deals.

So where a decent PL player would cost around £5m now he's at least £10m.

£40m+ is probably standard for the top clubs nowadays

Its sad, but true.

The money seems to have no real meaning now.

Huddersfield buying Mooy for £10M

Gartside out

that's why though, Chelsea and City harvest all these players they'll never play and ship them out on loan - good business for them
