Thomason was shite and he still is shite.

The promotion thing was to be a bit different than everyone else. Everyone saying we would walk the league.

It took one of the greatest 2nd halves of the season to secure promotion on the last day of the season.

Thomason isnt good enough and Evatt knows that. Thats why he didnt even get onto the pitch until we played Wigan.

Same with Senior. Not good enough and replaced at the earliest opportunity in January.

Both will fade away and find their level in non-league football.

Thomasson at somewhere like Chester

Senior at somewhere like Lancaster City

 

Ethan Hamilton was shit a couple of years ago. Has since found his feet and is doing pretty well at Accy.

GT is what? 20? No reason why he couldn't be a reasonable L2 player in the next year or so, Whether he's L1 standard is debatable, but I think he's better than non-League.

Thomason is a very decent young player with promise. Not Glen Hoddle, not Nolan but he'll cut a decent career, certainly at 3rd & 4th division level (y'know, currently OUR level). I suspect the better the players he's with the better he'll show.

Writing him off as shite is just wrong.

i dread to think what Thomason has done to you. He isn't brilliant but he also is not shite. 

Senior gave some shit to a RMI batter once, so I understand Horwich's dislike of him.  I don't get the hatred of Thomason though.
