He was a tryer unlike some of the past but there's a lot of very good quality out there to bring in & be interesting to see who we have in mind of replacing Sarce/Crawford. Crowley would be one worth bringing in if the terms are right, also the City youngster McAtee who's got 11 in 12 for the reserves from the 10 role if we could do a loan Quote

However, neither he jor the returning Mr. Darcy can play as European Clearance paperwork has yet to be received & granted by the English FA. Pretty remarkable in Darcy"s case as he's OUR player & been footloose for a month ! Quote

desperado Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 To offer a bit of balance on Cowley, quite a lot of Cheltenham fans aren’t sad to see him go. Some of the criticism being levelled at him includes; doesn’t work hard off the ball, poor attitude, big time Charlie who thinks he’s better than what he is. He was benched quite a lot since December (although once the manager knew he wasn’t interested then that could explain his absence) That said, he did have a very good game against us and looked a very good attacking midfielder. I’m sure Evatt and the crew will be aware of all this and more, so I’ll trust their decisions on transfers. Quote
