Eavesy
Only room for 2 more players with he 4 young lads signing contracts?
Pablo
Does financial fair play still exist? Everton just parted with £100m and increased there wage bill a fair bit. Can't see them making the match day revenue of a Man Utd or an arsenal? How are they doing it? Teams get £110 million per season from the Premier League (Sky) alone. We sold out every single home game, and have loads of new sponsors, and no debt. We should be spending this amount EVERY summer now.
gonzo
Wasn't there a fiddle with your owner sponsoring the training ground for about £50 million

SoberDan
Spoke to a Mackem today on the train who told me Buckley was shit and went as far to say he was on of the worst he has seen at the club in recent years. Would explain why he's spent most of his career on loan
radcliffe white
Pretty much what a few on net seem to say various different clubs. Just have to give the lad support and hope he can rediscover the form he had at Brighton
SoberDan
Kone would be a huge signing. His record speaks for itself. Him and ALF is very exciting. Wages will be the issue
Pablo
Wasn't there a fiddle with your owner sponsoring the training ground for about £50 million Well, kind of. one of Arsenal's shareholders sponsors the training ground....due to the club not owning it, its doesn't break any rules!!!!! Members DazBob
Blackburn fans probably said the same about Kevin Davies.

bolton va va
Buckley isn't shite but is massively injury prone. If he stays fit, he could be a great signing for us, but unfortunately he's more likely to be another Mark Davies.

Members DazBob
Maybe we've signed him one of those mythical pay-as-you-play contracts I keep hearing about, so nowt to worry about.
bolton va va
Thing is, if he wasn't injury prone we wouldn't be able to afford him, so in our financial position he's the kind of gamble we've got to take.
RoadRunnerFan
Sunderland has been a basket case for years now, Buckley's mate Bridcutt from Brighton also failed there too. Every chance he'll find his mojo again back in the North West under PP and his team. Give the lad a chance.
Members DirtySanchez
Sunderland are an absolute joke. Suppose it comes from being in close proximity to a near neighbour who is more successful No doubt next season there will be cock waving exercises between Sunderland, Leeds and probably both Sheffield clubs about who has the best fans

Newcastle are just as big a laughing stock as sunlun. Highly likely that this time next season toon will gave gone down and at least one of boro and Sunderland come back up.
