If it's his medial ligaments then he's gone for the season so we are now well and truly fucked !

If that is true, then we won't be seeing him in a Bolton shirt ever again unfortunately - the amount of "wage" that we have sitting in the medical room is probably more than nearly every other, in this division, teams entire wage bill for a season

Thought it was reputedly nearer to £15k unless he took a pay cut when we went down?

aye,he was reportedly on 10 at Utd, thought it was 16

and surely not, I know we have spunked money left right and centre, but both must be on sub 20k, especially as they got their deals in the championship, and considering pratley is in 13k

Can he play up front?

He was a midfielder in his youth.

Only switched to GK because his team's regular keeper was injured.

MU scouted his first appearance (by accident, obv).

They have had plenty GKs pass through their books!

Imagine our midfield this time next season....

Hopefully we'll have been able to get rid of at least one of Davies, Pratley or Spearing in the summer depending on when they can be released.

Brighton and Huddersfield will be challenging for promotion to the Premier League with a less expensive midfield pool than we've got in the sick bay

If Gonzo's figure is correct Spearing will be more expensive than the entire Sheffield United midfield.

And in my opinion Spearing wouldn't have been a starter in Bruce Rioch's central midfield that got us out of the 3rd Division.Mcateer/Kelly would still have been the first choice.Spearing fantastic wage but only a half decent footballer

Davies or Pratley  are just injury prone liabilities who should never be given another contract even if they'll accept 500 quid a week.
