Winchester White Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 I found this really interesting as it is my field but it also takes a dark turn and gets very murky with intelligence agencies. Quote

MancWanderer Posted December 17, 2020 Author Posted December 17, 2020 Can’t remember if anyone’s recommended Dan Snow’s History Hit? Love it. There’s a load of stuff of no interest but a massive amount that’s really good. They are only short, like 20-30 minutes each but there’s a lot on there that relates directly to, shall we say, the more contentious threads on here - BLM, viruses, the good ol’ U S of A, war stuff. Folk who haven’t entrenched themselves Actually. A shit recommendation come to think of it.... Quote

Just seems nepotism had a lot to do with him getting on TV. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Also, he called his son Wolf. Wolf Snow. Quote
MancWanderer Posted December 18, 2020 Author Posted December 18, 2020 He irritates the shite out of me but his guests are normally very good so I let it go Quote

Cheese Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 (edited) Louis Theroux's interview with Oliver Stone for his 'Grounded' series is a good listen. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p091pfzv Edited January 16, 2021 by Cheese Quote
Cheese Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 The latest Athletico Mince is one of the best yet. 110 episodes in to something that, on paper, shouldn't have lasted more than 10. Mortimer is the greatest living Briton. Quote

Not in Crawley Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Acast also sort all your podcast ads out as well. Decent company. Quote
royal white Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 The Ben Marshall podcast on the Under The Cosh is a good listen. Local lad who had it all explaining why he just walked away from the professional game and is now playing for stoneclough. Quote

With Patreon, you pay a monthly subscription to a specific user in return for exclusive material, and advanced releases of their podcasts/videos/whatever. For instance, if you're into Athletico Mince, you can subscribe to them on Patreon for £2.99 a month, and you get all their podcasts early, along with their bonus episodes and other exclusive content.
