enzo gambaro
Weird that. Unless there's certain matches whereby police can put some time limits on it? When I was in there were people in shirts and scarves getting served no problem. There was a no booze after games until (I think) seven until relatively recently. Tesco used to have the booze aisle roped off.
Moderators Zico Posted November 15, 2017 Moderators Share Posted November 15, 2017 Couple of years ago after a match mate of mine tries to buy a bottle of wine. Check out lad asks him if he's been at the match. He thinks he's just making conversation, says yes, lad said he couldn't serve him. few years back me and a mate went in to get booze after a match, cashier said she couldn't serve football fans said we weren't, hadn't been to the match, were on way to a bbq (we were, and were buying burgers and that also) she was still not having it, going down the "well I can't prove you have been, but you can't prove you haven't" pointed out to her she'd just served two middle aged women in front of us with booze, and hadn't ask them if they'd been to match, which was a bit discriminate on her part she backed down in the end needless to say, we had the last laugh

Saw a bloke, cople of years ago, aged around 60. Valentines day. Full dinner suit, cumberbund, black tie, everything, Bunch of Roses in hand, Valentines day card in hand, and the Staff at Asda refused to serve him with a bottle of Champagne, because there has been a match on earlier. Sluffy
Seems we are in court again today? See number 34 on the list. First I've heard about it though? http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/court-lists/list-companies-winding-up

First I've heard about it though? http://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/court-lists/list-companies-winding-up It's not actually over a debt as such. It's over an argument between Ken & HMRC over how much of a "bond" the club should pay/have paid towards a future tax bill!
