Think he meant they'd turned up rapido after the shooting. Despite the fact that the incident was still ongoing. Perhaps they were taking statements from the officers concerned as quickly as possible, I don't know.

To be honest Mick, he was an ex copper and maybe had an axe to grind.

It's not been picked up on since, so perhaps it's not really something to be overly concerned about.

My next door neighbour is a copper in Burnley and his wife an ex-cop. She left the police and became an independent police complaints investigator...

Always wondered just how independent she could be. 

From the videos I’ve seen a lot of praise has to go to the public, quite a few seemed to get involved.

Let’s hope the copper pulling the trigger does not end up in court.

From what I can gather that's why he was shot. He apparently opened his jacket to reveal said snide device and that was the end of that
