Isn't exactly squeaky clean is he ?

What are folks thoughts on the London Mayor ?

Isn't exactly squeaky clean is he ?

Disgusting what he said about forthcoming police numbers

Before that, I thought he was ok

Oh yes he is.

What are folks thoughts on the London Mayor ?

Isn't exactly squeaky clean is he ?

In what way, particularly?

I thought he's come across very well

Didn't TM say something similar only yesterday?

I'd suggest checking his background and links especially his platform sharing with known extremists as well as the donations he received from known hate preachers.

Also check who was on the vigil platform with him last night......Harun Khan.......advocate of guess what ?

Probably explains why he never condemns the terror attacks.

Anyway, as you were guys.

Check his piece in the Evening Standard on Monday

I think he's doing a great job. Quietly getting on with things. He's focusing on his role and supporting those living in London rather than trying to grab the headlines to promote his own personal political standing. A breath of fresh air compared to Boris and Livingstone.

What about Manchester and all the others then ?........He had to respond to London as he's the Mayor.

What's your thoughts on the clip I posted when Cameron questioned his repeated platform sharing with extremists ?

There's plenty more clips available about Khan's links. Very easy to find.

Let's see how long Khan stays in his position.

You said he never condemns them

2 seconds of googling proved that was bollocks

Shall I post a picture of Prince Charles shaking the hand of gerry adams

In what way, particularly?

Because he's one of the islamheads innit

Despite my hatred of the labour party

despite my distrust of Corbyn

despite the thought that Abbott being anywhere near the front bench is slightly terrifying...

I do think that Khan's quote of "part and parcel" is taken well out of context, and that we know deep down it's true.. I certainly knew it was true when I worked at the trafford centre.. and that's before 7/7

However he is a role model for young British Muslims and they need that.. they need more role models..

Name 5 male role models for a young British Muslim, of the top of your head.. I'm struggling.. I honestly am..

There are hardly any in sport.. sport just isn't taken up by Muslim's, yes they play it but not competitively.. every actor has the same role (terrorist #1, corner shop owner of taxi driver sorry but having seen spotlight it's true),

It leaves very little for role models...

You are talking about a group of young men that 1) don't drink 2) have their wives picked for them 3) go to school, are given homework, go to mosque and are given homework..

No spare time, no socialisation, your wife's picked for you, and you're not allowed to get pissed... and quite a lot have their career etc picked out for them..

The best way to stop people being radicalised is for them to embrace British Values.. simply put they don't. and although Khan has skeletons in his closet (allegedly), he's actually showing there is more to life than Islam..

He comes across far better than the last two clowns for me. But i guess folks just see what suits them.

I wouldn't give time or credence to the ramblings against the mayor of London that are being spouted, but you can't name 5 male British Muslim role models? Amir Khan, Riz Ahmed, Mo Farah, Akram Khan, Humzah Arshad...and that's off the top of my head before you start looking at female role models, and indeed foreign born football male role models from Ozil to Anelka. I know nowt about cricket but I'm sure people who do could point to sucessful Muslim cricketers who are second generation immigrants.
