Shame we didn't knick a point, more worried about the injury's.

Ken looked OK to me pre match.

Hope things go OK in court.

No sign of Deano.

Bypass Crewe , roll on Saturday.

Played well in patches looked shite in others.

Fairly even game.

Derby had a poor debut.

Buckely and Armstrong looked like genuine difference makers when they game on, options to change things from the bench was something we missed last season.

not going to get too upset about losing to one of the potentially better teams in the division first game of the season

As for the comment we only create from set pieces, so what

Nothing as such - but it's a less interesting watch - particularly when you're not winning games.

My dad says scotts/ masala is shitter than ever. No carling or bitter at the main bar and fruit cider only.

Took him an hour to get off car park because the police let all Leeds off first then the busses.

What happened to keeping fans in??

Incident by the car park mentioned a few posts previously might explain it. We always park on Homebase and could see the stationary ambulance from the road behind Kia. Guessing the lights were being left to give extra priority to those on the club car park (quite rightly), but letting the away fans leave first does my nut in with followings like today.

Vela is having a 'scan' tomorrow which might suggest it isn't a break. Depends what sort of scan. Hairline fracture wouldn't be bad. Ankle ligaments would be worst result I think. Hope it's not that.

My lad got a rail replacement bus to Preston and even that got a police escort to the motorway.

well aware, wasn't questioning how may just that I don't get taking a flag to a home game

That's what that flag was bought for originally, away games. It's my cousins, sure we struck a good run of winning away games we went too and the flag became the lucky flag.

Anyway he's hung it in the same place for years now, so now they've moved the segregation he's not best pleased. Especially when the Leeds lads was sticking thiers there.

I kept myself to myself, first game in the new seat. I'll give the locals a couple of games before revealing I'm abit of a nob.

First half they closed us down very quickly and took their opportunities well. I thought Darby looked uncomfortable in the wing back role, maybe Little should have played.

Pleased with the contribution of Cullen (after a slow start), Buckley, Armstrong, Burke and Karacan. Madine excellent but he was tired at the end probably because every attack went through him.

Really hope Vela's injury is not as bad as it seemed, I think we will miss his industry and knack of scoring.

Poor first half, both full backs had a bad game. Cullen never got involved first half. Each goal could/should have been prevented. Better after half time. Madine MOTM, but ALF and Madine play too far apart for me.

The gap between midfield and front two is the issue for me.

Once Buckley came on he played a bit more forward which helped.

We missed Moralis as the outlet/support down the right.

Cullen was ok but a lot of little touches to nowhere and sideways play. Happy to see how he develops and may be my expectations were high.

Was like Burnden yesterday people were just happy to have a Darby to slag off.

Ameobi and morais due back as well. Nothing to worry about for me

Taylor is a good solid full back but when we try and play wing backs at this level he will get found out too much for me due to lack of pace to Wgt back quickly and our back 3 aren't quick enough to cover across unless Burke plays of course.

Hoping and praying Darby shows more than he did yesterday or it's little for me at that position

Plenty positives though not least madine who they couldn't deal with and was a real nuisance

I didn't think Armstrong looked as good as most seem to have done though in his brief cameo. Thought he was a bit like a headless chicken although we were chasing the game at that point.

I'll add I'm worried about Howard looked shaky and not imposing enough for my liking.

Any news on Wheater? We'll miss him if he's long term.

Burke did well though. Looks a good player.

if Wheater is fit, id be tempted to play Burke instead of Dervite. which is harsh as Dervite has done fuck all wrong

dervite is the only one of the starting back 3 who can play the ball for madine

hes also not the slowest

a few questions for PP to come up with answers too

on the keeper, i did think alnwick may have got first go

Beevers lumps it from the left side too.

not too concerned, but yesterday reminded me that we will get punished more at this level for sloppy defending, and we need to be more inventive as we probably can't rely on the set pieces over the course of a season as much as we did last year

was unconvinced by Howard, he's been shaky since his return from injury

still plenty of hoofs, but a fair few seemed to be in the direction of ALF who was never going to win any of them

though there was life and options in the subs that came on, so looks like we'll be able to have a plan b

also noticed it looks like we've made the pitch as narrow as it possibly can be, certainly seemed less width than last season, either way, it's very narrow

To be fair to Howard, whilst he looked a little wobbly at times when under pressure his distribution was bang on

He was there or there abouts bob on Madine every time for me

Half the reason Madine had such a good game was the fact he was helped out with decent balls upto him

You lot showed plenty of fight in last 15 mins, always a good sign.

Hope  Darby isn't even our second choice wingback  is Little injured ?

offered JS going forward . Feel sorry for Taylor without a left footed midfielder to support him .

Kararcan played central last week & looked better there .The short straw position at the moment is left midfield  & the incumbent is

always rirghtsided maybe Ameobi will be the answer although he was played exclusively on the right last season.

Karacan played centre mid,, just to the left of the centre mids.. :D

Karacan played centre midfield yesterday. Karacan, Cullen and Vela were our midfield.
