Compare this to our Boby;

“I don’t know what to do anymore,” said Tanya Luker, standing in the corner of the Coach & Horses pub in central London this week. “We’re just like a group of unhappy people that don’t know what to do.”

Sad thing is she is obviously an individual devoid of anything of substance in her life and is clinging on to The perceived injustice brexit to make herself feel slightly worthwhile and significant. The government are letting these people down I agree wholeheartedly. These people should be incarcerated for their own safety and to get the help they need before they harm themselves

I think she and her ilk are actually in a minority; just a loud moaning minority.

You know my lad. Quite pleased really, as he, like a lot of teenagers has been bombarded with info from all over.

Not old enough to vote, but he has mixed views on leave/remain, but he decided, with his mate to make themselves a pizza to commemorate/celebrate the event and wait up till 11.00 and see what if anything happens.

Far more open minded about it all than these screechers.

Spare rooms in the Wirral.

We're all aware of spider's troubles. It's interesting that his customers fucked off well before any agreements were reached and anyone knew what brexit looked like in terms of a WA or TA.

They obviously had their reasons, and maybe they panicked somewhat, but to say it was because of Brexit when they didn't know what it would actually mean for them seems somewhat premature.

Businesses have to have some security in the supply chain and can't wait and hope that Brexit will work out well for them or not. It's a high risk strategy to operate that way when you are dealing in big numbers.

So why didn't all other companies follow suit? Doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

Like I said, smacks of panic. They knew full well negotiations had to take place and any true changes would be years down the line.

Unless of course they had other reasons.

How do you know other companies haven't? The company I am consulting for have and other big businesses will have contingency plans in place. If they haven't already made decisions about sourcing then they risk being exposed

We Remainers got lazy. We stopped making the case for the EU on grounds other than economic ones. And on economics, we talked in aggregates when noone's life is lived in aggregates. #Brexit taught me that turning your values into percentage additions to GDP is a dismal politics.

Didn't say they hadn't, I used the word all, if you're trying to make a point base it on what is written. Making contingencies is one thing. Withdrawing custom almost immediately is another.

Without a shadow of a doubt, if there had been mass loss of sales by British companies, we'd now be deaf from all the screeching.

I can still hear just as well.

Well we'll have to agree to disagree then

What he says is true though Pete in that apart from the odd snippet of anecdotal evidence as per the likes of spider , where are these horror stories that were loudly predicted? Genuinely I’m not seeing them when I’m out seeing clients, albeit they are larger companies at the top end of the scale but I’m not seeing the mass downward impact that was predicted.

Do you know of any such examples that you could share with us?

The evidence appears to be against you, though

Why are people on sky news saying we're leaving Europe. Fucking mental.

Is bbc any better?

They are getting that bit right, but insisting that Scotland voted to leave the EU, which is incorrect.

They report the news, but don’t understand it.

Not in my experience but then again you'll just dismiss what I say anyway

The evidence of our financial performance since 2016 is overwhelming

Who is ignoring what?

Scottish office in Edinburgh lit in a blue hue. Apparently it’s part of some “leave a light on “ bullshit to show solidarity for the eu and so they don’t forget scotland doesn’t want to leave.

ITV are at a EU party/vigil/gathering call it what you will. Vegan curry and folk music on offer. Average age circa 60 and they all appear to be white folk.

Where are all these thick Old white racists that voted Brexit?

I work in an industry that works in design cycles in excess of 5 years on occasion. We had plenty of customers hold or withdraw their R&D until they knew what was going on. We lost loads of projects to France and Germany because of the initial vote. Nothing kndr jerk about it, they needed to know that EU funding would be available for the next 3,5 or 10 years. As the UK couldn't or wouldn't guarantee still funding these projects, they moved away.

I agree, as I pointed out earlier
