Corbyn will disappear into the background. Back to his meetings with Cuban splinter groups and the IRA.

Starmer has time and, fortunately for him, a government with four years of flapping and turmoil ahead of it.

This really is the best chance of his life.

Starmer does have time. But so does the government. Get a vaccine sorted, and a few years post brexit to get things on track.

The success or otherwise beyond that will have a large bearing.

As will whatever policies KS comes up with. He will need to lose the remain leanings and concentrate on how he will take the country forward out of the EU.

👏👏👏

Farrelli will try to quote factcheck re Corbyn and his antics at Al Quds and the wreath laying.

Fact check actually tried to make out Corbyn was at a different event, though he actually admitted it in an interview👇 ....no doubt Farrelli will still back him up and call us realist people as being racists

Vote tory then to make sure they are in place to deal with it all!

How long will it take to actually boot out Corbyn do you think? At the moment its only a stopgap measure.

He needs to run through them all as quickly as possible for me, to prevent the radicals regrouping.

I reckon the harder left elements will splinter off which will split some of the existing Labour vote. But in doing so they'll pull a load of voters in from the middle ground.

If Brexit goes badly - and you know my thoughts of whether that's likely to happen - then I reckon the Tories will be fucked for a decade.

And I can't remember the country being in such an utter shambles for the entirety of my adult life - which I'd class as from John Major onwards.

I must say it's interesting how people perceive Starmer as "middle ground"

Who's said he's from the middle ground? And where would you put him?

Plenty are saying.

Hmm....I think his history puts him quite to the left, but not as extreme as Corbyn.

But....he does wear the stigma of trying to deny democracy.

Certainly, better for the country than that bunch of unelectable freaks. And I take my hat off to today's suspension.

If labour become more central to try and win back those supporters who left, do they then risk losing all those hard left nut jobs that JC attracted?

In the bin or judging by form, on the board of BLM 😉

People are lauding him today, yet he openly backed Corbyn for years whilst others left the party in disgust at what was in clear sight to them and many others.

To be fair, Boris Johnson was keen to remain in the EU not all that long ago.

People change their minds, it’s ok you know 😁

Ok let’s set Boris aside - I used him as he’s a prominent politician so it seemed a useful and linear comparison.

But I can do it another way.

I used to like Rolf Harris

I don’t now.
