Increasingly wondering if there is a hint of politics about this, despite the obvious risks.

The new variant is obviously a big concern as it is spreading rapidly, but it’s if the other strains are now of less concern, when they still kill at the same level.

At what point do we start insisting upon incoming drivers prove negative?

So an EU driver in the UK tests positive then what happens, difficult to get a replacement driver from the EU in to the UK to take the consignment forward, it's a fcuk up.

Plenty of drivers will do it. For the right money and there will need to be plenty of money. But it will the freight company paying it ultimately.

It’s a nightmare pal. Not sure how long it takes to clear even with a plan which we don’t seem to have yet. But it’s been impossible to plan when we don’t control the main issue at play
