But yes, just stopping in a busy tube thoroughfare is really fucking annoying. Also, the barriers aren't a surprise, they don't move, get your payment out before and don't fucking tap again or else it'll read mine, you'll go through and I have to wait. That's a killer. But, as well as knowing doctors, dentists and architects, I have sojourned in many of the World's great capitals and that London is by far the worst offender for visitor-intolerance... Although the ThamesLink changed my commuting life, that is blissful. There's also a lot of well-hard wankers. Paris I find much more accomodating, and Berlin, when I'm the tourist looking lost on their transport systems. And the Metro is a pile of shite compared to the tube. All capitals are made up of people not from there, personally that's why I like living and working round here. Plus its so fucking big, I get lost loads and why you have those teidous conversations and/or arguements (with the other half) about the best route from point A to B... Quote
