(Dons tin hat and dives in trench) It was never particularly an issue of supply, it was an issue of choosing to negotiate the price and delaying the manufacturing process. The reason the UK was in a position to offer vaccines to the entirety of its adult population quicker than any other tier one European nation was because we opted not to negotiate on price (at least to the same extent) and instead purchase as many vaccines from as many suppliers as possible.
