This deal with Australia is a complete fuck up, a total failure on future planning and pissing off our closest geographic neighbours. Why the fuckery we're sticking our nose into issues in the pacific.

I think the fact some people are happy as it 'just pisses off France' show their real motives.

Yep the last paragraph is an odd one if anyone thinks like that.

Anyway, never mind

I just thought Brexit would protect us from European woes.

It doesn’t seem to be doing that just at the minute.

We left so that when the eU sneezed we didn’t have to pay for the tissues to catch the snot in.

By the time peoples' eyes open to what these chancers are up to, it'll be too late anyway. At the moment they're trampling the working man into the ground, and being thanked for doing so because they're waving a Union Flag and singing 'God Save the Queen' as they do it. As with all things in Politics, it will bite eventually. It will probably take another 10 years, by which time they'll all have flounced off into the sunset with the taxpayers' money. To say this is the worst Government in any of our lifetimes is an understatement. They don't give a fuck, and why would they?

It’s Covid! (Copyright: The Brexit Party)

Let it go Spider. It will eat you away.

There's some sensationalist tripe sputtered on here. The 3 day week, power cuts and garbage piled on the paths etc  can only be realised by voting the Labour Party back in. They are the only ones with the track record and experience to give certain detractors more of these stellar achievements so they can blame Brexit rather than Bagoshit.

'Some people' here :D

An alliance with our traditional allies sits well with me. If a by product is a pissed off France with its usual overblown opinion of its own importance (note - ours is the international language, system of government, commercial system etc. - not yours) then that's just a Brucey bonus.

They can always strengthen their alliance with their traditional ally, Scotland. That would have us quaking in our Pantherellas

Owing to our privately owned free market economy we have not invested adequately in infrastructure in order to pay the shareholders' dividends. As a result the UK has the lowest gas storage ability and now the post covid emerging far eastern markets are taking the immediately available supplies. These shortages will lead to three day weeks not a labour government paying an extra £20/week to the poorest people or whatever.

Energy, water and railways should not be in the hands of private companies as they do not invest adequately for the long haul.

Your beloved Queen Liz and supposedly 25% of the population is decended from a bloke from Normandy. 45% of all English words are of  French origin.

Your homeland (ace as it is and I'd live there in a heartbeat) is nowt but a fart in the vast chasm of history.

It's amazing how little 'patriots' know about the country they love so much eh?😃

England spent almost 1000 years after the Romans left just eating soil and the only societal advances they made were to die of plagues every so often.

The Danes and the Norse added some questionable dietary quirks but in truth, it wasn’t until William came over and United the kingdoms of Wessex, Northumberland, Mercia etc that England started to move on.

Introducing continental influences such as language (French mainly), fashion (French mainly) and diet (French mainly) saw a renaissance in English fortunes.

England is very much a cultural melting pot and always has been. Beating the Germans in a war or invading Ireland are not necessarily how I’d define us as a nation. Defeating Hitler was a worldwide effort and beating up bogtrotters who were half dead through starvation isn’t something to get giddy about.

English pride is about our tolerance, strength, innovation and togetherness. Traits of which we should be rightfully proud.

Mocking the French when they’ve basically supplied much of our culture is as ignorant as it is amusing.

Bolty isn't the sharpest tool in the box when it comes to history, we all know that.

Let him have his little beliefs, I'm sure it keep the old fella happy.

And the French have been allies for nigh on as long as Australia has existed.

We are also less relevant than we were since leaving the EU. See how Biden does not see a trade deal with the UK as a priority. We now find ourselves in a bit of limbo, another load of nonsense by Bozo and his brexit pals.
