Massively disagree there. How many 1000s would have thought there’s no need for me to isolate and ended up in hospital

Good point.

I know that recent studies have suggested limited lives saved, but so many adopted the same tactic, it made sense, and it must be almost impossible to judge accurately.

Understand why they did it, I’d of preferred to take my chances, no issue with folk who chose to isolate, i caught it about 12 months after isolation was lifted and went in the office through the pandemic. I think the swedes adopted a liberal approach id of preferred we did same.

The comparison with Sweden has been proven to be a stupid one and ended up back firing on them with many restrictions coming in later. There’s no way our health system would have coped without  a lockdown

It’s a shame our government didn’t have the integrity or respect to follow their own rules. The was due to having a leader with zero integrity who continues to try and undermine democracy even after being kicked out.

It wasn't just about people dying 

It shouldn't need explaining but I guess as time moves on people are going to have to be reminded exactly why we had lockdown and why a mixture of folks cracking on whilst others isolate wouldn't have worked
