You like the over dramatic I note. Like the private dick escapade. Johnny English meets Clouseau.

Absolutely. Well done for finally admitting it.

Trade deals with the US and India. Couldn't have happened under the blubbery iron fist of the bloated bureaucrats of Brussels.

we had trade deals with those countries when we were in the EU

the question I ask you is, are the deals we have now better than the ones we had, and worth the 9 year wait? and if so, why.

I genuinely don't know if they are or aren't

I mean they must be because that was the whole point

so I hope they are and reckon you'd know

They aren't - they aren't even technically trade deals. Its just a reduction on tariffs. So it's a better deal than two weeks ago but that's about it.

It was a bit of politicking. It's not a trade deal though, it's just a bit better than we had two weeks ago.

It's the world we have to deal with with the leader of the free world being thicker than a bowl of porridge.

To be fair, Starmer and his comms team were keen to play it down at the time

It was Trump who described it as a "full and comprehensive" trade deal

Hopefully even better after 2029.

This is an extension of the co-operation and Sir Keir has visited Tirana which is a sign of intent. Good on him👍

read the article. There is an extension to the co-operation and it’s significant for him to visit Albania. Credit where it’s due he is getting on with stuff which is a nice change from the previous government.

Surely it’s more cost effective to just send them home? Why on earth does it take so long to return someone?

Co-operation is the key word. We have to work with other countries to make returns effective.
