Chirst that takes a leap even for you

This is pretty embarrassing. Bet he wishes he’d gone back to Downing St. to meet the Lionesses.

Completely against political etiquette!

Shouldn't really be going there publicly.

Even JRM has said Trump "struggles" with such things. :)

All that said, he's right.

Whether there is the stomach to face up to it, and deal with it, is a different question.

And in the morning he’ll still be the prime minister.

Boiling piss.

Spot on.

Zia Yusuf is 38 I read today !

Fuck he had a long paper round

Certainly looks older than that.

As for Farage- I always think it looks shit when folk ask for an apology.

Still, it will no doubt give him another little boost in support.

Surely the Online Safety Bill in its current form won't last?

The government's line on it seems weird

It was described as a sledge hammer to miss a nut.

Undoubtedly comes from the right place, but with significant over reach and quite possibly missing some of the protection.

I read an article just yesterday, whereby forums/Web sites were closing down- including a football one for fear of what the new laws may bring for them.

Surely some secondary legislation needs introducing to modify and clarify the unintended consequences.

Already had MP's comments and parliamentary discussion "blocked" which isn't great.

Neither is allowing a soul minister to have complete authority over rules issued to offcom, without needing to go to parliament.

Not sure how an independent body works being issued with edicts from central government.

All will be revealed.

Be interesting to know how many of those shouting about the bill are the ones  most are funded via Tech companies that are most hit by the new bill.

I honestly do not know but as always follow the money.

From what I have seen the charities that are concerned with protecting kids seem broadly happy.

US politicans in the grip of their Big Tech companies are suddenly concerned about free speech over here. Strange.

Very good.

Perhaps a bit more of that might distract the kids from their phones for a while! :)

16-17 yr olds will definitely have a bank card. So can easily get a VPN. There's free ones out there too if you can trust them.

A 100% swing from Keir to Nigel - shows the way the country is going. This is probably as accurate as any Ipsos MORI poll 😀
