Charlie Peters has blown thellid on grooming gangs, leading to greater public exposure, and quite possibly being instrumental in forcing the government to have a full public inquiry (if they do actually get on with it).

Of course they push agendas that they want to; over net zero for example, but that is the preserve of a privately owned media company.

You have a take on it, which is applicable to any privately owned media company, but fail to make the same accusations towards them. Why is that?

 

Some fair points. I guess what antagonises me personally is what I feel is the blatant right-wing bias and constant antagonistic, negative language. That’s why I choose not to watch it, just as I struggle to read the Mail/Express or in fact the Mirror/Guardian. Free choice as always of course. For me personally I want to watch/read something that is vaguely balanced. Where I will agree or disagree in equal measures with what’s presented.

From the little I’ve watched on GBN there seems zero positivity about anything Labour have done, and a relentless and vitriolic narrative that any and all migration is illegal. Doesn’t help achieve a cohesive society which I think is what Britishness is all about. Tolerance, compassion, respect. Like everyone else on here I want boats stopped, illegals deported and grooming gangs imprisoned etc. I just don’t think GBN/Reform is the way.

Well obviously, given it's a Reform mouthpiece, they need to run down the UK as much as possible to pursue their agenda...

When Reform gets in they'll do a 180 and the UK will suddenly be a utopia, just you watch. They have to tow the party line.

Can't be good for the viewers' blood pressure! Not a good look when most of them are retired or unemployed.
