It doesn’t, it’s just pure deflection tactics. TBF, it’s having some effect. Of the 19 posts since Miami mentioned Soros, 11 have been about Soros and only 8 about Crispin. If he hadn’t mentioned Soros, the focus would have been entirely on Crispin.

Common tactic from Miami - if someone is being criticised and you don’t like it, find someone else to criticise and try to get people talking about that rather than the original person.

For added impact, don’t actually tell them what it is that person has done - tell them to go away and “find it yourself”. It then makes that person focus attention on Google searches rather than the original matter at hand.

It is a common tactic of the far right frequenters of Breitbart etc...when in doubt mention Soros and random far right conspiracy theories about him. Bunch of extremist loons and best ignored.

nobody ever does that though do they, so the point never really gets across. Far better just to make the point, and provide a link, rather than just telling people to go and do some research. Aye, that would be the thing to do and most people do provide links. Some don't (the same people time and time again). 

I can only assume it's because the link is far less dramatic than the accusation made in the post.

Read up on the subject, he did it not only to make a lot of money, but also to try and force the UK to join the Euro.

So you can't actually bring yourself to address the fundamental difference...what a surprise....

Head in sand. We know rich men make money from these things. Its how it works. The issue here is not that people bet against the UK. Although of course that is distasteful. Its that these men - deliberately contributed to a campaign where they told us how great the economy would be after Brexit - they funded the lies - and now are spending huge sums to bet against that success they lied about.

I have no idea why folk take Miami on with this stuff. Happens every single time and to be honest makes these threads pointless; ignore the original point or news story and then try and get people to look at some sort of high profile 'liberal' (and I use this term loosely) in some form of odd comparison then declare yourself a winner to a discussion that wasn't actually happening.
