Even he can't win the headers and then be the one running onto them. For all his improvement the lad couldn't finish his tea.

Agreed, but even as a big Madine supporter I'd say he's only an average championship player & none of the promotion chasing sides would be interested in him.

 

Saturday was a shock for me in that I thought that Brentford were a team that we could compete with, but I don't think that our players - under any manager - could match the football that they played in the 2nd half & we had no players who Brentford would want to sign !!

 

As said, we can only play with 1 upfront & fill the midfield......trying to match the way better.stronger & faster players play is suicidal.

the best suggestion anybody has come up with for the player we need is playing for bury who are bottom of the league below

2 options current free agents. Diagorouga -ex Leeds and Mulumbu -ex WBA. However I suspect we can't afford their wages despite them currently earning £0 per week. It would seem players have a certain pay expectations which if not met then they aren't going to bother
