Wanderers 1-3 Preston

Gazing a little bit further down the line here, but what do you learned folk think the chances are of them re-arranging the home game against Preston on March 3?

Bearing in mind they've already moved Boro v Leeds to the Friday night and Wolves v Reading to Saturday evening so Sky/EFL have had a rummage through that weekend's fixtures already... but could our game still be moved for police advice, how late did they leave it in advance of the away game before moving it?

For me biggest game of season this. Win this and all those bottom teams will shit their pants as they’ll realise we’re staying up. Couldn’t be more proud of players and manager for sticking together a

Makes for a few interesting balmy April midweek nights ....

Big problem is drifting. Not mega deep generally but surprised by the depth of some drifts.

If some gather on the 61 etc or round the ground then might be an issue.

Reckon it will be on though.

The snow was a lot worse back in the day but with health and safety it's just too much hassle for the clubs to clear the areas around the ground. I can't believe the Everton game on new year's day was allowed to go ahead with about 6 inches of snow on the pitch. If it snows heavy again tomorrow I think it will be off.

We should have a mid winter break

In March

Bad financial blow for the club if it's off.

A night time re-arrangement knocks thousands off the attendance.

They have already sold 3300

Can't see that many changing there mind for a midweek game 10 miles down the road.

Really?

Lots of PNE are only going because it's gentry day.

And those going as families might think twice about having kids out beyond 11pm on a school night.

Our crowds are generally lower than night games than Saturday ones.

Corporate would take a big hit as well.

Pitch will be fine and immediate surrounds will be fine. Biggest issue will come with if there are any concerns about the motorway staying open. Of course Middlebrook will be allowed to stay open regardless, but that’s for another time.

Erm. We've had about 4 flakes of snow. The worst has been and it's due to warm up.

club carpark is being gritted by a little tractor thing at 7 this morning.

theres very little snow left the biggest problem up there is the wind

No chance it’ll be off.

The pitch will be fine

Supporters getting to the game will be the problem as reading found out the other night

That problem isn’t exclusive to bad weather.

It was being played today, I wouldn't be getting there. Hopefully things will be better tomorrow

The only reason for a postponment should be a frozen pitch end of.

Or a waterlogged pitch

Or a pitch baked by the sun until its ceramic.

Possibly a typhoon or Hurricane but not one of those micky mouse ones we have over here.

It will be on revenue rules ok

2-1 to us.

Power cut at a night match

Fog

Sadly, today's blame & compensation culture is a serious consideration when there are plenty of softarses who will try to sue the club if brave, little Nimrod slips on ice within 5 miles of the ground.

Same here. M62 shut and I have the shits. Hoping both clear up by tomorrow.

Do the daft buggers just save it up for us?
