June 22, 20188 yr doable getting train back to Glasgow Just need to get a move on and still time for off license for journey backAs previously posted, Paisley St James station is literally next door to the ground. I managed to get the half 5 train south when I was last there, even allowing for time for getting cans and a chippy outside Glasgow Central.

June 22, 20188 yr Bury night before ours Wigan end of month Edited June 22, 20188 yr by radcliffe white
June 22, 20188 yr Would deffo have gone but I’m away. England could play in QF on 7th July. I was fully expecting the Scottish game to be the 21st July. Surely there’s another game to go in on this date?

June 23, 20188 yr Grandson been brainwashed by others to be a man city fan but has now asked if I will take him Bolton as no one will take him city So gonna take him against Halifax hopefully he gets the bug Wouldnt take him to Halifax because they are braindead fuckers there, plus the atmosphere will be poor Like Biggish says get him to West Brom
June 23, 20188 yr As far as brainwashing goes the big games will do it .Took my lad when he was eight to the Man Utd fa cup tie (0-1) up Until then he was showing the wrong tendancies as we were third tier & fairly crap tbh But 8000 plus whites at OT did the trick Never in doubt after that.
June 24, 20188 yr Author It’s the love you have for the club that the kids see and that’s what seals the deal not how good or how shit the team is.
June 24, 20188 yr It’s the love you have for the club that the kids see and that’s what seals the deal not how good or how shit the team is. I’d second that. I’ve told my eldest many times that his mates might all support team that have more money and more success than bolton, but none of them, not one single one will have as good of a day and journey in life than he will watching bolton. After forest he saw a glimpse of what it means to folk and what id been telling him along. Mirrors my childhood. Hard work being the only bolton fan out of the whole school
June 24, 20188 yr Correct, all round. My daughter is 13 and has the piss taken at school because she supports Bolton (we don't live in Bolton) and has pics of the team and players in her locker, but she just asks them who they support and how often they go to games. The answer is generally (A) a big club and ( never. The sad thing is that her school is less than 8 miles from Turf Moor and there are virtually no Burnley fans in her year either.(not sad that it's Burnley, per sé, but you get the point)

June 24, 20188 yr That can't be true though mate because everyone knows the whole of Burnley support the clarets In Burnley, Burnley are everyone's 2nd favourite team
June 26, 20188 yr had it relatively easy with my lad, from the minute i first took him (at about 5 year old?) theres never been any doubt or debate about who he supports. In my eyes hes loved the club just as much as i did growing up. Now hes nearly 15, goes week in week out with his group of mates doesnt come anywhere near me apart from asking for some money but as long as i know hes there that will do for me! End of the last couple of seasons, seeing him on the pitch on his mates shoulders means everything. Now comes home talking about away games he and his mates are on about going to The next generation..
