radcliffe white Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Why do we never get to play against the big side in Atherton? always the smaller one isn’t it Quote
Sweep Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 always the smaller one isn’t it it looks like it, although I suppose they might have merged now Quote
Traf Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 It's not, it generates money for the Colls that they can reinvest into the stadium. The stadium is also used by BWFC Ladies. It's also the closest you'll get to the players all year. Great for kids. All correct, shame it's a school night. Really want to take junior to a friendly where she can near the payers, but night games are a no-no in term time, sadly. Quote
Marc505 Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 We are far more refined than resorting to pitchforks, we'll set the local wimmin on you I’d prefer the pitchforks! Quote

Carlos Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Surely it’s better to block them than waste time? Quote
enzo gambaro Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Surely it’s better to block them than waste time?Or just fuck it off altogether and save yourself the hassle/stop attention seeking. Quote
Marc505 Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 To be fair to the serial moaners, has it ever got to beyond mid June without us knowing our full pre season schedule before?! Quote
frank_spencer Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Can't say I've ever given enough of a shit to notice. Quote

jmjhb Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Disappointing if you are a Burnley or Aberdeen fan mind you Quote
captainmed Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Couldn't be happier for the inbred fcukwits, a 5 hour train trip to bloody Aberdeen. Theyr'e gutted.... Chance are they will go out as well as Aberdeen are one of the stronger teams at this stage. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Burnley visiting Aberdeen in ELQ2! What date is it? Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 What date is it?First leg at Pittodrie 26th July, 2nd leg at Turf Moor 2nd August Quote
marple whites Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Fantastic draw that I would be gutted. Wait all this time for a european game and don't even get to leave these shores !! Won't be easy either. Will piss my sides if they get knocked out Quote
Escobarp Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Burnley will beat Aberdeen. Will be a very very tasty game as well that’s for sure. They travel very well, took 9000 to Murrayfield for game against hearts last season. Personally if I was a supporter of either club I would much rather this fixture than a trip to Kazakhstan or somewhere similarly shit. Quote
Casino Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 travelling to shitty corners of eastern europe are what uefa was all about ok, aberdeen get to see some backwards bit of europe but its not the same Quote
Escobarp Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Agreed but aberdeen do this every year in recent times so this will make a nice change for them I suspect. Maybe less so for Burnley Quote

The alternative opponents in Burnley's sub-group were from Bosnia/H, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and Cyprus (or if any of those lost in the first round Armenia, Andorra/San Marino (from prelim round), Liechtenstein or Albania).
