Im sorry but goal just been on ssports and alnwick should of had that second goal. He was half way on the floor when the ball was in the air

don’t know who the defender was but he didn’t get tight to the goalscorer poor marking but good finish

So 5 lucky games and 1 where we got what we deserved?

You utter plum

You see that mindset all the time. Every signing the manager being slagged off makes that is successful is lucky whilst those that don't work out are 100% down to him.

Very pleased with that point.

7/9 away from home is excellent.

Parky has done very well in rebuilding the squad, especially midfield.

O'Neil, Lowe, Williams, Oztumer are all decent and hopefully Murphy will improve.

Enjoyed that ,a proper laugh. biggest shock of the day !

Embankment arranges a minibuzz ,and it turns up

I was stuck at work yesterday so didn't see a kick.

However every player being involved in a bit of Argy bargy at the end shows me that we've finally got a group of players who will stand up for each other and not be bullied.

If you can't sign worldies sign lads that give a shit and will put in 100%.

My highlight of the bundle at the end was you could clearly see Noone laughing his bollocks off

don’t know who the defender was but he didn’t get tight to the goalscorer poor marking but good finish

Aye, I thought the same.

Lowe?

Aye, I thought the same.

Lowe?

He’s touch tight. There is no stopping that goal. Just too good.

He’s touch tight. There is no stopping that goal. Just too good.

Is he fuck touch tight.

If he’s right up him there he’s no chance of scoring that.

Exactly.

It reminds me a bit of when Rioch was building a side here.

Misfits/Freebies maybe, but they had a winning mentality and would run through brick walls for each other.

I think Parky is trying (and achieving) a similar plan.

All most of us want is lads who give 100% and have some pride in the shirt.

Easy to say that now.

If ameobi doesn’t score from 30 yards your point ends immediately.

If our plan is rely on wonder goals then carry on

Moot point. Their second was a wonder goal.

I thought the defender for their second did exactly what he was there to do. There is no chance that goal would go in the other 9 out of 10 attempts. It looked a great goal but very very lucky.

Is he fuck touch tight.

He made contact just before he turned. You cannot legislate for that. No stopping it.

Great result

Great start to season

What else we need.

He made contact just before he turned. You cannot legislate for that. No stopping it.

You’re wrong. If you’re proper tight there you affect his balance and timing.

Edited by enzo gambaro

Lowe is pretty much touch tight to be fair he leans on him as the ball comes off Gallagher then takes half a step off him so he doesn’t give a free kick away. There mans first touch gives him that angle to hook it back across

99 / 100 it stays out

Any criticism there is harsh but if that’s the main issue of yesterday then the performance was decent

Moot point. Their second was a wonder goal.

Moot is a polite way of saying moronic.

You’re wrong. If you’re proper tight there you affect his balance and timing.

correct more I watch it was sloppy, the finish ain’t questionable top

Really enjoyed yesterday

Only saw our goals so a good win for me????

I can't remember the last time we came from 2 down

We look a different animal now

Onwards and upwards. Coywm

Absolutely spot on

In the last 10 or so years we have seen much better football than this week in week out. However under whichever manager and with whoever players the spirit had been ripped out of the club.

They were embarrassing, we were embarrassed. The club was dead.

Now Parkinson can be criticised at times for his style of play but what he cannot be criticised for is since walking through the door he has somehow managed to get these waifs and strays he has picked up to fight for the cause, battle but most of all show pride for the shirt

Yes there are times when there will be a poor Performance or be on the end of a bit of a spanking because if these players are even 5% off top performance they get found out but overall the manager and these players are giving us the fight, the passion, the will to grind out results. Ultimately making us proud of the team again

There is definite improvement in the way we are trying to play compared to last year and there is clearly an improvement on results because of that

Long may it continue

Great post.

I got in at 6am.

Casino you’re a very jealous man. My tanned muscle bound legs are something to behold :)

Nice to meet you Matt ...????????

Great day.

Im sorry but goal just been on ssports and alnwick should of had that second goal. He was half way on the floor when the ball was in the air

Thought that myself, should have done better but can't fault his overall performances.

6am is an unreal effort Gonzo, I thought we did well only leaving Preston after 8 (and Wigan at half 11...)

Exemplified perfectly by the posts on here mid game. Rest of us are enjoying a great day out and a superb start to the season. They are miserable because they can’t say ‘told you so’.

Must admit when it was 2-0 I remember thinking we aren't playing bad, being here is miles better than the misery you feel when you are at home and just hear bolton are 2 down after 20 minutes. I texted my step daughter at 3.25 listening on I player in Majorca not to take notice of the score in terms of how we were playing. I was even able to tell her Williams looked like a player as you can just tell the way good players look in possession, even after 25 minutes in which you've gone 2 down. It's all black and white, ecstasy or misery sat at home, so many other factors good or bad when you are there.
