  • At what stage of that season was promotion a minimum? Going into august most of us were chuffed we still had a team to support. Despite the good start folk were still only talking of making the play o

Personally if Parkinson is potted, best out there for me would be Warburton.

I’m not. Far too hairy. But I have seen him waiting a bus at Punch Bowl in Atherton (no paint brush in hand)

I’d absolutely love it if he would hold an open forum and just explain what the approach is.

pause the match at certain points and explain what our intention is from a goal kick or a throw in or when the centre backs have the ball.

what he spent all week in training doing.

And then explain why players have no options or why we are lumping it to magennis who flicks on to no one as no one is within 30 yards of him.

Explain to us why we do that all match. Week in week out.

(and if he says it’s because the other team cost £30m then he we can all forget it and go home)

there is is no evidence of any game plan whatsoever

Paul Lambert Ipswich New manager

Before we got Parkinson I wouldn’t of minded Paul Tisdale think he’s at MK now

Steve Bruce would be terrible

Chequebook manager

Mediocre results

Doesn't bother coaching the players

Requires a big budget

Dire, negative football (so more of the same then)

Which of our signings were really in demand, elsewhere

Aside from the afore mentioned Ozthumer, Olkowski had other offers on the table, Wigan wanted Wildschutt back (looks like they dodged a bullet there) and Murphy was wanted again by Burton.

Those are just the ones where interest was known.  We're not privvy to all the agents business and who's talking on the quiet to who. For sure we're still shopping in the bargain basement but to suggest we only picked up players that no one else wanted is wide of the mark.

Out of those, I'll give you olkowski

I think we saw Wigan could beat us for our targets, so not having wildsschutt

Murphy was wanted by a team in the league below

So, no, I'm not having it we've a group of underperforming galactic is

I don't think any of us are having that!!

No one is saying that, but we could and should be putting better performances in than we have been

You can dismiss frees and loans as automatically being shit so as not to question PP but no matter who the personnel are or the expectations (league one or championship) we seem to endure abysmal runs of form and performance

It's clearly not all down to PP but he's not immune from criticism

Think there's no excuse now, simply has to go.

Parkinson and the team will feel hard done by today but ultimately it’s the score what matters

McGennis on the right? Time to go Phil lad

Thought we were the better side. Schoolboy defending for their goal. Hull were dogshit - we were slightly better dogshit. Wouldn't surprise me of both sides ended up in the bottom three unless there are big changes.

Still don't understand what the point of Vela is.

Who was that bellend of theirs giving it the big one to the ESL at the end. I have literally no idea who he is.

He’d have been slated if he’d brought Little on though. Can’t win (in more ways than one, I suppose).

He either lives in Atherton or Tyldesley, he often gets the V1 when we’re en route to Piccadilly for away games.

If we sack him i can see an 80’s style very dark period looming.

After 45 years watching the wanderers I now couldn't give a shit anymore, it's depressing, boring, dull, the Fulham manager looks like he's going to be sacked after today even though they played the best football in the championship last season. That's football. Tell you what let's stick with him and see what happens but count me out. Sacking a manager is always a risk but I think we should take that risk. We need a spark from somewhere!

Wigan wanted and got Callum McManaman back ahead of Wildschut. Every Wiggin fan I've spoke to says they'd prefer Wildschut.

That second half when the subs began there was absolutely no shape to the team at all.

It’s the Parky cycle, I remember coming away from Villa Park last season after the 10th straight defeat (without a single goal) thinking Parky was done. Sammy comes back in and we go on a run. Then at the end of the season, the bad run, the disgrace that was Burton away, the week after we do the business and stay up

I don’t know why it happens this way but it’s feast or famine with Parky. I bet he gets a kick out of it, he reminds me of one of those weirdos that put a bag over their heads and suffocate themselves just to the point of no return before knocking one out!!

Anyway, I can’t see him going anywhere soon, in the meantime apathy will rein supreme. Be a bleak old winter at Ice station Macron if these home performances continue to get served up

Twice the owner has had indirect goes at Parkinson within a year through his write up

crowds will drop which means revenue drops

I think he’s got till Swansea

Not easy to watch, yes we could have grabbed a draw. But just as easily been 4 bart down. Do i trust Parky to turn things round. NO.

But i also cannot see Ken sacking him.

Unless Big Sam gives him a ring " ok Ken i will be there Monday ,i will also bring 10 million in notes , cut me in on the action"

One problem is.

Ken and his lad give it the big , turn up and fill the stadium. Bring 4 of ya mates. Buy the shirts loud and pround.

Unfortunately Parky plays 1 upfront and the entertainment is dire.

Tough one for KA

He knows more than anyone the conditions PP has had to work under

He also probably now knows he isn't the man to get the fans back in numbers which is what he seems to want most (though whether he thinks anyone else can is another matter)

But one thing is for sure is whatever decision he makes he won't be swayed or influenced by public opinion or how loud the boos are

Sack him or keep him, it'll be this season's gamble and his last two, selling Clough and Madine paid off, just

I’d think only SA could get fans back and he’s only man I’d sack Parky for.
