So Basran is officially out of the deal.

The silent bidder has an open door....

Is that confirmed? I assumed he was off trying to raise funds.

Officially?

Are you referring to the Sky Sports breaking news headline that he walked away, something that we have known since last week?

Has anyone heard a rumor regarding Wigan Warriors moving into the UNIBOL on a drastically reduced rate than what they pay at the JJB currently...?

Part of any turnaround plan would be to maximise return from assets, it would be a groundshare.

@reluctantnicko According to Jim White on Talk Sport now, he’s just spoken to Ken Anderson and he can’t come on Talk Sport for confidentiality reasons, however there is more than one buyer interested! Also he said he’s unsure if we are in court tomorrow!

So when does the "mystery" bidder make his move?

It will be between tomorrow and the 27th. The reason for this is that as soon as the WU petition becomes a WU order, no other creditors can piggyback on it via substitution, this gives protection against lots of upfront payments.

So Howard in short, do you think we will still be a club on the 27th?

Will we have new owners?

in your opinion will new owners have the cash to make us a sustainable club?

Finally will there be points deduction and transfer ban attached?

I'll take a stab at those -

Yes we will still be a club because it takes about a week to appoint the Liquidator

No Anderson is still the owner until the debt is called in.

Yes the people who bought the debt from Moonshine would only have been allowed to do so by providing they have the funds to make the club stable.

Yes a Winding Up Order will trigger points and an embargo.

Thanks Sluffy, but the 27th IS a week after the hearing.
