I think there is an issue. I do see how people get offended by the actions of a small minority. This increases the likelihood of the majority getting shit.

It is ok saying do not go there then. But that attitude again fuels the haters. ‘If a heterosexual couple were so extreme it would not be tolerated’. And they are probably right. Public decency is the same no matter who is watching or how is acting out.

If that were the case, police cells all over the country would be rammed every weekend. Have a walk through Blackpool at 2AM on a Saturday morning. Make sure you have Fylde police on speed dial.

There is no need for pride as I initially said, nobody gives a shit if your gay

It was only last month that two lesbians received homophobic abuse and were physically attacked on a bus for refusing performing sexual acts on each other for the gratification of a group of male teenagers. And then there's the protests outside primary schools in Birmingham against the raising awareness of homosexual relationships in society.

OK 4 or 5AM. You get the point.

Ok. Question for you.

Have you asked any gay people what they think about the behaviour of some other gay people at these events ?

So that will be no then.

Have you ever asked any gay people do they feel uncomfortable about certain other gay people act at Pride marches. I mean their highly sexualised antics.

What highly sexualised antics? Kissing? Blow jobs? Dancing? Fingering arses?

Arguing with some of the loons on here, I can understand

But if you're at loggerheads with ani, just take a moment to think

I'm not at loggerheads with anyone. Just interested to know what behaviour Ani finds so offensive that goes on at Pride marches.

Why do I always feel cheese is looking for an argument? Is it just me feels that way? Think it’s time ignore was activated again.

Because when someone disagrees with you, you assume they're winding you up, because your mind is so closed you can't comprehend that anyone has an opinion that differs from your own.

So definite no.

This cropped up in the conversation I mentioned above with the gay relative. They hate the behaviour.

They lead very normal lives just prefer blokes. But there are elements in the gay community who use these events to ‘shock’ with their OTT behaviour.

I will let him know you have decided it is OK so next time he is getting harassed he can relax. His point was that he is proud to be gay ( it caused lots of issues in his family when he came out to his parents). But people at gay pride are not representing him and his friends.

I never said I was offended.

You keep asking. I keep replying.

The OTT sexualised actions.

As I keep answering do the same. Have you ever attended a gay pride march ? Or worked with campaigning groups from the Gay community ?

And then irrespective of sexuality do you think two ‘factions’ from the same group can disagree and find the others behaviour negative whilst sharing their objective ?

You keep replying, but you're not answering. You need to be more specific than just keep saying "behaviour". What are these "over sexualised actions"?

No I don’t.  You have not attempted to enter into a discussion. You have talked yourself into a corner by thinking you were being clever and have made a real prick of yourself.

Pride is still relevant because of the harassment suffered on a daily basis.

So I'm supposed to give my opinions on certain "behaviour" even though you can't tell me what that behaviour involves?

The fact you've resorted to personal insults speaks volumes.
