No its not, you know the type of people I knock around with and homophobia or racism doesnt exist

But for plenty of people in society it does exist. It's not just about you and your mates.

It was more a reference to men parading in thongs and chaps as opposed to women doing it.

My point isn't about who's doing it. It about is it acceptable for your 6 year old, at an event regarded as family friendly, seeing it? It's hard to believe that the Horwich carnival would have a float with a Frankie Goes To Hollywood tribute act on following the Peppa Pig float. But you never know up there.

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t work your lot as your lads are decent but it does exist. Just not in your sphere

Cheese

Ani is referring (possibly) to certain sights on the parade with borderline pornographic content. It does happen - I've seen blokes with massive dildos waving about and simulating sex. It's a minority but it happens.

Aside from that, I'm also in the couldn't give a fuck bracket. Means about the same to me as those goggle-eyed clowns in Belfast and Glasgow stomping about with flutes and leprachauns every year. It's probably peaceful with a minority causing aggro.

I bet you've marched from a football ground into a town centre at some point in the past. Some lads are up for a scrap and to lob stuff about, most aren't.

It's just not for me but if they're happy, crack on.

If it wasn't for gays, there'd be no girl on girl category on XHamster, which is my next port of call.

I was in Portugal a couple of weeks ago with 20,000 England fans, not once did I hear of any homophobic or racists words, seriously doesn't exist other in the minds of moonmen

I'm not sure kids sexualise it though, they just see men and women dressed up acting funny. Granted if public decency laws are being broken something should be done but just jumping around scantily clad is fine. My 6 year old would live in his pants if he had a chance.

Where do you draw the line? Remember what you said. Kids don't sexualise it.

Anyway, the other point I was making was how parts of the pride march has degenerated from what it was originally about.

I've just had a 20 quid bet regarding an incoming overnight post.....

Was inclined to ignore but, on thinking about it, that 20 quid could ease the pressure on the Walshaw food bank so lets not disappoint.

Count me in with Ani, Undies and Manc. No need for overtly sexual displays and, if the 10% homosexual stat is to be believed, I would wager that over three quarters of that 10% would be on our side on that one. Allowing for bisexuals and whatever other ridiculous label the PC pigeon holers could come up with (I wonder what a Cheeser is?), somewhere up to 90% of Brits are heterosexual. If any of that 90% paraded down the street scantily clad and behaving suggestively with rubber dicks, I am 100% certain they would be up on charges of offending public decency.

One rule for one; a different rule for those whose preferences ensure that the human race prevails.

The fact that this is even a thing, shows you that homophobia is indeed alive and kicking: https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/championship-gay-footballer-twitter-account-come-out-who-is-it-when-a8992591.html

I’m in the leave em to it camp, if they want to have a March and a big jolly to celebrate the fact they can then fair play.

However they should tone it down when it comes to some of the more sexual stuff imo.

The event in Blackpool is ace, but there’s no way I’d be taking my kids.

Get enough people together and you're bound to get people acting like twats.

Not a fan of ott public sexualised behaviour but is it anyworse than would have gone on at Parklife t'other week?

Oh no but I wouldn’t be taking my kids there either :D

The scantly clad dancing is nothing worse than youd see at the festival in Rio or whatever, but I do think they could tone it down with some of the more extreme stuff you see. Fellas in pink studded thongs pulling another fella about on a lead is a bit daft.

There's no issue with the gays feeling like they're ever victimised. Me and a group of mates once went into a bar where there was a queer barman. We were cracking jokes about him, calling him a bummer and all sorts. He laughed along with us.

I've read this about 10 times and I still can't work out if it's a piss take

Ask Bolty how he came to the conclusion that racism doesn't exist...
